Gorge train ride

Amazing train ride but the seats on the train were not comfortable with the fixed tables in between 4 passengers. Some noisy passengers made it impossible to listen to the train commentary. Cheeky Kiwi coach driver cum tour guide,Jonathan is excellent...very knowledgable,entertaining n helpful

The train is old now and so the seating is like it once was before comforts came about, in order to give you an authentic experience. The scenery is incredible and we hope you found that the bus ride with less noisy passengers made your day more enjoyable in the second half. Sad when people spoil it for others. Great way to travel from Dunedin to Queenstown

The two part tour started with a train ride through the Taieri Gorge with an excellent guide who narrated the sites along the way At the end of the line, our tour guide Jonathan met us and drove the rest of the way to Queenstown. He was a delightful guy with many interesting stories and lots of humorous trivia about the towns that we passed through.
