Really worthwhile experience... 100% recommend the 4×4 and show. Pay for the VIP show have a personal private space. Our driver Muhammad was very patient and helpful. I would definitely do it again.

They ruined our entire trip to Dubai

They never showed up. We were told someone at Viatour canceled our tour. When I asked who I was speaking with they hung up the phone on me. Viatour says they did not cancel our tour and that we had paid in full. So far no refund. Worst experience imaginable.

My most memorable should have been going on this activity. We reached out to them the night before to confirm. No reply. Day of same so we called Viator. Was told truck broke down possibly reschedule. No contact. So later got saying did we enjoy. WHAT. NO SHOW. Now difficult getting refund. 2nd excursion that was canceled by them. 8 activities on Dubai trip 2 canceled so you have to figure your day last minute

If I could give zero stars I would. Non communicative got ready for pick up just for them to message at the time they are suppose to be there to pick us up and say they aren’t coming their car broke down with no other alternatives to try and pick us up. Wanted us to reschedule and then didn’t reach out to do so. Save your money and don’t waste your time booking with this company. RIDICULOUS

The experience was so bad. Do not choose this tour. First of all, the driver was late for 30-40 mins and kept saying it’s the guest’s problem. Secondly there was no shisha no Hanna no falcon and even no sand boarding, yet it says they are all included. Last but not the least, the driver (tour guide) was rushing us to leave the table when the show was not even over. And the buffet at the camp closed very early, just one time taking the food and then no more. It was an extremely bad and sloppy and lousy experience. I complained it but no one responded. Refund please.

Mixed thoughts on the tour : our guide was about 30 minutes late, but not a problem. He had limited English, but explained that he had been drafted in at the last minute and asked if we had booked the trip on the same day - no, we had booked 2-3 days previously. So it was obvious he had been called to cover for some one. Because he had limited English there was no real interaction - normally guides would tell us some history and background to the area. We arrived at a shop where we we were expected to buy headresses etc but with no explanation as to why.... After that we were allowed on to quad bikes for about 25 minutes followed by about 30 minutes of dune bashing which was good fun. Sand surfing was a little over stated, sliding 20 feet down a dune on a piece of wood - not quite like the images you may have ! The dunes were beautiful - but the amount of rubbish, particularly plastic water bottles - was disgusting - please just take yours home !! We then went to a large area for food and a show - we paid 50AED each to upgrade to VIP which meant a separate area with seats and table, there were many hawkers selling all sorts of "stuff" - a polite but firm "No Thankyou" was sufficient. The food quality was very good and unlimited coke/water/soft drinks was available. I am not big on dancing shows - but the crowd seemed to appreciate it and the fire show was good. The camel ride was a joke - my Wife and son got on a camel, it was lead round in a circle about the size of a tennis court whilst photos were taken... not quite the desert experience. All in all - it was OK ... not 5* .. but it is now ticked off the list.

Realistic review- Have to do it but very touristy and lengthy waiting times

Everyone has to go to the desert when visiting Dubai so do it but just know it's a tourist trap. 100s of people, long lines to wait for quad bikes, if you don't do the quad bike you have to wait around for an hour at a camp just outside of the desert. Nothing to do but watch quads drive around in circles in a relatively small cordoned off area for the amount of bikes. 4x4 ride through desert with guide is awesome! We had so much fun Dune bashing. Our guide was great showed us how to sandboard then helped us take all these amazing photos. The "SHOW" part- All 3 acts were amazing. Breakdown of inclusions Henna- they do a set design the length of your figure and will do more, for money. Camel- long line for short circle walk on camel (2 camels the night we went and about 150ppl) Shisha- they give you an individual nozzle to smoke off a large shisha that everyone can use. Extra if you want your own for the group Custom photo-Says included but it costs extra Food- Buffet style- We personally didn't eat it because of how it looked but many did so I am sure it was decent Drinks- water/coffee/tea unlimited and 1 small bottle pop included Overall we got great photos due to an awesome guide and loved the time spent Dune bashing and in general in the desert but we wouldn't do it again.
