Inam was an amazing guide! He was so pleasant and educated us on the mosque! He accommodated us as much as possible, provided an extra wrap for me & I really recommend booking this tour and having Inam as your guide!

The grand mosque itself is amazing however I would not recommend Viator. Firstly, when booking the trip we were told a 9am pick up time. However, at 11.30pm the night before I received a text to say the pick up time had changed to 8am. At 7.50am that morning I then received a message asking why we were not at the hotel reception and ready to get into the car provided. Secondly, the booking states that a black abaya will be provided. Once we reach the Grand Mosque the driver asked us where are abayas were when we stated that we did not have one. He pulled a smelly, dirty and horrible looking abaya out the bottom of a carrier bag in the boot of his car. This led to myself and my mother feeling extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable as they were very smelly and three sizes too big for us. You could pay to borrow an abaya from the shops around the mosque however we felt that we had payed enough for the trip itself without having to spend more money. The grand mosque is amazing to visit and a must when visiting Dubai. However, I would not book with Viator. You will also spend longer in the car travelling there and picking up other families than when you will looking around the mosque. Overall, a great place to visit but our experience was very disappointing from such a well known tour company.

Driver was nice; however, I didn't like that the driver assigned to us had other pickups after us; which we got there late way after the designated start time as promised; whe didn't arrive till 5:30 pm; long drive time; feeling rushed; and was told by driver e poined that there is where you enter and meet back here at 7:20pm; (felt like kids at a school fueld trip); the picture ops of the Mosque were good; overall felt like we were dropped in middle of nowhere and was left to figure it out on ourselves; We expected more from this Viator experience; won't book this one again. Better go on your own if you get this kind of service. Very disappointed.

While the mosque is well worth seeing this experience is not worth what I paid. The experience was much more of a Ride to and from the mosque with entrance covered. Guide told us nothing of the mosque, on the way there or back, guide texted while he drove, and given how agressively people drive there doing anything but driving is scary.

We were meant to be picked up at 9;00am, the tour guide came at 10:15am. We waited 1hour 15 for them in the lobby wasting time. Then when we got to the mosque, it was Friday, so it was a religious day and closed to guests for a few hours for respectful prayers. Due to arriving late, we then couldn’t enter the mosque or have a look inside. The tour guide then tried to come up with alternatives like city tours, which we declined as we only wanted to view the beautiful Mosque. Tour guide didn’t want to wait three hours and neither did we, as we had other commitments later, that’s why we chose the earlier slot - 9am pickup. Very badly organised and lack of communication from tour hosts.

Driver was late, journey began after 10am instead of 9am, then he drove us to local store where various goods were offered for us to buy. After that we where driven to Mosque where we had only 1 hour 40 min, including all entering way and procedures. Time was not enough, would like to spend more. And the reason was that another travelers that he drove with would late in camel ride 🤦🏻 All our jorney took 4 hours 10 min instead of 6 hours. Feeling sad
