What a well organised and informative trip. Loads of Crocs and loads of extremely valuable information from our well educated guide Ric. I strongly recommend this trip to see the 1st Nations Art. Facinating being brought to life by our guide which was key to the whole trip.

It is a long drive but we knew that before we went. The rock art was interesting. The croc jumping cruise was nice even though we only saw one crocodile that did jump a little. The tour guide on the croc cruise was fun and entertaining. Dani the main tour guide made a number of derogatory comments about Men, Religion and the USA Government. She also used a lot of swear words. I don't think this is the proper way a tour guide should behave. I find swearing to be offensive. Tour guides should not swear or make derogatory comments about anyone or any country or anyone religious beliefs. I would not recommend this tour for this reason.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We appreciate your insights and are glad you found the rock art interesting and enjoyed the croc jumping cruise. However, we're sorry to hear about your concerns regarding Dani's behavior. Professionalism and respect are very important to us, and we take comments like these seriously. Your feedback will be shared with the team to address these issues. We apologize for any offense caused and appreciate your honesty.

A great experience and a lovely way to spend a day. Rick our tour guide was very informative and made the day very enjoyable. The Adelaide river jumping crocs was well worth it and the stops along the way were very welcome for food, hydration, bathrooms and cultural enrichment.

It was a very long day, made a lot longer as we were an hour late getting back into Darwin. Not sure why that was as there was only 3 activities.

Skip fogg dam, I honestly wish there was more description as the reality was just sitting on the bus driving by the nature reserve, taking pictures from the bus. I totally understand the crocs safety aspect, but the whole point of being in nature is to hear the birds, feel the wind, and just couldn’t do that. We did go out for 10 minutes at the end of the road and it was beautiful but the guide kept talking althe whole time to where you can’t hear the birds at all.
Speaking of which, the guide was very friendly, and had a lot of cool and interesting facts, but at times it was just too many facts or too many variants of the same fact, that it was overwhelming.
There is a lot of driving, yes, but that ended up being cool, what you see the whole way is interesting and the stops are amazing.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re sorry the Fogg Dam experience didn’t meet expectations, but we’re glad you enjoyed the stunning scenery and appreciated the guide’s efforts. Your insights are incredibly helpful and we’ll use them to improve future tours.

Adrian's 12 hour day driving with care, in a comfortable coach, ensuring we received the best that Kakadu can offer. Thank you Adrian for allowing us to travel to Fogg Dam wetlands, instead of crodile jumping, where the sincerity of your love of the wildness, birdlife and environment was evident. You are a very nice man.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt appreciation! We're delighted to hear that Adrian made your 12-hour journey comfortable and memorable, showcasing the best of Kakadu. It's wonderful that he prioritized visiting Fogg Dam wetlands and shared his genuine love for the wildness, birdlife, and environment with you.
His dedication and kindness truly make a difference, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. We appreciate you choosing us for your adventure and hope your experiences in Kakadu remain a cherished memory. Cheers!

Kakadu really needs to be more than a day tour. It takes about 3 hrs each way to to get there and back from Darwin CBD and you rally only see 1 thing when you get there. We saw lots of rock art and a spectacular view from the top our guide was great and I can now say I've been to kakadu but it was avery long day.
I will go back for a few days next time or at least stay overnight to have more of an experience
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We’re so glad you enjoyed the stunning views and rock art, and that your guide helped make the day worthwhile. Totally hear you on the distance. Kakadu really is vast and deserves more time to explore. We'd love to welcome you back for a deeper adventure next time!

12 hr trip to no where. We went to fog dam nothing there, see more on my walks at home. Then on to Kakadu still wondering what we were supposed to see, maybe it was the aboriginal paintings because their was nothing else
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you for your honest feedback.
We are truly sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations. We will take into consideration your feedback. Please email us directly to info@autopiatours.com.au and we can help investigate this further with you.

We went on this tour which was organized by Autopia Tours and the tour driver/guide was Alex. Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable about Kakdu and the aboriginal history. He was driving and also giving commentary at the same time which was not easy. The tour was about 13 hours and well organized, gave us plenty of time for breaks. We did the Fogg Dam and loved it. It was the end of wet season and plenty of water lilies/lotus. We saw some birds/animals and aboriginal rock art. There was some walking up the hill but it's well worth to see the rock forms and aboriginal art. Alex stopped the bus on the way for photos too. The bus air con was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so glad you had a fantastic day exploring Kakadu and that Alex’s knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed the time at Kakadu and Fogg Dam even if it was raining, but it’s a long ride there and the bus they use is very cramped especially since they had every seat filled the day I went.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Stoked to hear you had a great time at Kakadu and Fogg Dam, even with a bit of rain! It’s a fair hike out there, and we hear you on the bus...thanks for the feedback, we’ll keep that in mind. Appreciate you coming along for the ride, and hope to see you on another adventure soon!

Very informative experience, we learned a lot about native culture and history. The jumping crocodiles were fascinating and well done. Highly recommended.

G'day,
Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! We’re so glad to hear that you found the experience informative and enjoyed learning about native culture and history. The jumping crocodiles are always a highlight, and we're thrilled you found that part fascinating. Thank you for the high recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for another amazing adventure soon!
Gerald_W, Mar 2025
Both the Litchfield and Kakadu tours were very good. Particularly so because of Dani, our guide. She obviously felt passionate about NT and filled in much of the time on the bus with personal and academic information about the area, the culture and the people in the NT (Northern Territories). Given we are tourists there was no way we would have discovered this information, we can only hope to retain some part of it.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
G'day,
Thanks so much for the fantastic review!
We’re thrilled to hear you had a great time on the tour. It was awesome having you along, and we’d love to have you back for another adventure soon!
Until next time, take it easy!
Cheers,
Cody

It is a long day in the bus, but worth it for the amazing scenery and animal life. Jumping crocs definitely worth it, amazing creatures. Ubirr has wonderful scenery and its fascinating to hear the dream time stories and way of life of the indigenous clan that used to inhabit the area (I'm sure all Australians will realise why it's 'used to'). Our guide, Dani, was very knowledgeable and made sure to stop when spotting different wildlife, and gave a perspective of the top end from a locals point of view.
Response from Host, Mar 2025
Cheers for the awesome review!
We’re stoked to hear you had a ripper time on the tour. It was great having you with us, and we’d love to have you join us again for another adventure down the track!
Catch ya next time!

Perfect way to get in touch with local nature, wildlife and aboriginal people culture all in one day and in one tour.
The whole trip last about 12 hours and was packed by live and education narration from our guide Naomi. She is so knowledgable and passionate about local nature and spirits and has an open heart i'm communication with people.
A piece of advice:
- wear comfy shoes for the hike
- have your camera ready and eyes open as you will encounter wildlife often. We saw a lot of very rare species in one trip. It was AMAZING!!!!

The river cruise and croc feeding. The history and information about the indigenous people was very educational and intersting.
It is a long tour so be prepared for along day of driving. My only complaint would be that the van was not very clean relative to other tours we have taken.
Response from Host, Oct 2024

A fabulous day hosted safely and competently by Becs - with lots of great stories, facts and education along the way. Plenty of stops and educational breaks to split up the long trip. The rock-art must be seen up close to truly appreciate. Bianca helped for a short part of the trip but wasn’t as good as Becs.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Hi Vikki,
Thank you for your review!
We hope you made some great memories and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
