The provider cancelled this trip on 28th April and informed us that Viator would process our full refund. It is now 6th May and we still have NOT RECEIVED OUR REFUND! This is completely unacceptable and if it is not resolved very quickly I will be lodging a complaint with Australian Consumer Affairs and publishing my opinion on social media as well.

Lovely day out, Libby was fantastic, really knowledgeable and entertaining. The swim at Florence Falls was well worth the climb back up.

A superb day out Jas is an excellent guide and very safe on the road. The highlights were definitely the termite mounds and the swim in the Wangi Falls.
Punctual pickup and drop off.
Recommend any of AAT KINGS tours. You won’t be disappointed.

Great waterfalls and views but thought there would be more bush trekking . Lots of time spent on comfy bus.
Response from Host, May 2025
Hi Roslyn,
Thanks for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the waterfalls and views. We appreciate your thoughts on the trekking and will keep it in mind for future tours.

In wet season Apparantly tour companies cancel and then you have to wait 14 days before a refund occurs
I had two trips booked with aat and both were cancelled very disappointing when you plan a holiday a long way in advance. These trips are not cheap
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Dear Eva,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your tour. Unfortunately, the wet season can sometimes lead to unavoidable changes.
As promised, you should receive a full refund from Viator. We truly value your feedback, and we’re committed to improving our services to ensure we are communicating as early as possible to our guests.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope we have the opportunity to serve you in the future.

I enjoyed the way the tour was set up and organised! The places we saw were amazing and so was lunch!
Prem , our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a very interesting way. He also gave very clear instructions about the different options for everybody at the destinations.
The only thing which gave me a bit of a surprise was the fact that we had to buy the Litchfield park pass extra. I would have assumed that it would have been included in the price. It would be good otherwise to provide the link for purchasing the park pass together with the booking confirmation. I found it a bit hard to complete the registration and payment on my phone.
But apart from that it was a great trip!

Highlight was seeing a baby fresh water crock.
Only disappointment was bus air con not adequate. Great commentary by bus driver.
Georjeana_P, Jul 2024
Litchfield National Park was amazing. Commentary was very interesting. Concerns about safety on the road and treatment of an injured passenger.
Kimberley_S, May 2024
Great day in Litchfield, great commentary from the lovely driver Caneron. Loved Florence Falls swim.
DrHongR_W, Apr 2024
The tour guide and the driver, Micheal, was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable, which made our trip most enjoyable.
Simon_F, Nov 2023
The boat trip down Katherine Gorge is fantastic, made even better by excellent commentary and information on animals, rock formations and history. Our tour guide Becs was great, looking after everyone and bringing a complex and long day of traveling to a very satisfactory conclusion.
Patricia_H, Nov 2023
I loved swimming at three different spots in Litchfield. The stop at Howard Springs was the least valuable part of the tour.
Barbara_K, Sep 2023
Amazing waterfalls , tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to, hotel pickup included. Lunch was great.
Josie_S, Sep 2023
The tour guide was very good and an excellent driver. Happy with all the areas we went to and the chance for a swim in the springs.
Gabrielle_B, Jul 2023
Waterfalls, swimming in water holes, easy walking tracks, beautiful landscapes. Coach driver very friendly and informative.
Philip_M, Jul 2023
The termite mounds were amazing in both size and number. Florence Falls was a lovely appetiser to the main meal: Wangi Falls, which has to be seen to be believed. Swimming thre is an awesome experience. All in all a fabulous day.
Alex_A, May 2023
This was perhaps my favorite day of my trip. Cameron is an excellent guide who provided great narration. It was great that he’d provide us with all the background during the drives between stops, but then let us explore on our own. The day goes by at a good pace because of the multiple stops, each one providing incredible views. For those complaining about not being able to swim, that is up to the park management and crocodiles (which do unfortunately make their way inland, causing them to occasionally close swimming sites); the tour guides/companies have no control over the government or nature (;
If you can secure Cam as your guide, this may be one of your best park tours.
Ronald_O, Apr 2023
Florence Falls was great
Nice place fora swim
The guide driver was good
Very knowledgeable about the park
Vicki_N, Mar 2023
The waterfalls were the highlight for me but I was very disappointed not to be able to swim, as was offered in the brochures I read. Our tour guide/driver was excellent and made the day much more enjoyable (Rox).
Response from Host, Apr 2023
Hi Vicki,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
We do point out in the itinerary and notes that swimming is subject to weather conditions. Particularly in the wet season the water levels can be higher and swimming might be unsafe.
However, I'll pass on your feedback to all relevant teams.

Interesting day with informative guide. Comfortable transport.
Lunch very average for the cost of the trip.
Very disappointing that we could not go swimming because of it being wet season.
You should be informing people who have booked about this.
The main reason we booked it was because of you advertising swimming in rock pools.
Quite an expensive day for what we got!
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hi Pauline, thank you for your feedback. I'll pass this on to relevant teams.

Anthony was a great guide - friendly, knowledgeable, efficient at herding cats. The sites were outstanding. A very good day and thank you!
Annette_B, Nov 2022
The tour guide/driver was very good but that was about it. We paid a lot of money to see three waterfalls and eat a very poor lunch. I mean a couple of slices of ham and silverside with some less than impressive salads which the bowls weren't refilled when empty as we were on the end of the line so very little to choose from. The woman that did the lunch was not at all friendly and gave the impression she could wait for us to be gone
It could have been so much more but it wasn't. I would not recommend this tour to anyone unless it is given an overhaul
Response from Host, Dec 2022
Thank you very much for your feedback. I'll pass this on to our product & operations team.

Very rushed tour. Operator gave very little time to take photos, soak surrounds or swim or freshen up at most stos
Sylvia_S, Aug 2022
We went to the waterfalls and termite mounds. There was plenty of time to swim at the falls. The bats at Wangi Falls were a wonderful highlight. The guides were fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.
helen_c, Jul 2022
Wangi Falls was a standout location. Waterfalls..... gorgeous rock formations and a huge swimming area. The most amazing place to swim that I've ever visited.
The rest of Litchfield was equally fascinating. Wonderful places to swim and wander. The giant termite mounds were also fascinating.
elizabeth_d, Jul 2022
The swimming in the ponds at the falls and the information given
Well run and pleasant tour with good guide
Doz_W, Jul 2022
Graham the driver was excellent, wonderful experience, learning more about our beautiful country. Meeting fellow travellers is just the best, sharing stories.
