Overview

Take a break from the quaint towns and beaches to see another side to Vis with this tour of the island’s former military landmarks. Visit Fort George used by the British, submarine tunnels and a former airport from WWII, plus underground tunnels used by the Yugoslav army. Karin is a great guide! The tour is both entertaining and educational. The submarine bunkers and gun emplacements are fascinating and Karim does a great job of explaining the functionality and engineering. The views if the island also provide great photo ops. Definitely recommend.
