David was our guide. He’s been doing this for seven years, and is very enthusiastic about his homeland’s food. We enjoyed five dishes, each one a small meal in itself, plus dessert. All were delicious!
The first dish, a rice pancake filled with meat and then wrapped with cucumber and green banana in rice paper, was our favorite. The peanut dipping sauce with spicy chile oil really made the flavors sing.
And the dessert, a mix of durian and some other fruits with gelatin cubes in sweetened milk, was also very tasty. I’d never had durian before and was hesitant to try it, but it blended in with the other flavors really well.

We had a wonderful time with David! We had 5 full meals and they were all delicious! David was so kind and friendly and we really enjoyed hearing about his family and his life in Vietnam. David is an entrepreneur and runs this tour company himself. As small business owners, my husband and I respect the hustle! We had a fantastic experience and the food was truly incredible.

it was a very good food tour experience with David.
We had 4 stops and each stop was a gastronomic delight! My favorite were the vietnames pancakes!

This was a great experience with David to learn about Regional Vietnamese cuisine amd culture. What I absolutely LOVED about David was how much he knew about the cultural influences of the food and region. It was as much a historical journey as it was a food tour. It was a perfect pairing complementary to each dish and drink served. David was timely and patient with each stop so we got to enjoy each meal like a local. I would definitely do this tour again and highly recommend.
