There is a lot of driving on the tour, but it is a good way to see a lot of the country side. We thought about renting a car and driving ourselves, but glad we didn't, the roads are very narrow and looked a little difficult to drive, especially being from the US and having to drive on the other side of the road.
Bus driver gave a lot of information during the drive which was nice. If you take the tour be sure to always be on time to the bus. He warns you all through out that if you are late he can't wait, and it is true, he will leave without you.
This was a nice tour but WAY too long. I was crawling out of my skin near the end of it. It was torture being on that bus so long! Make the tour shorter. We didn’t need to see miles and miles of rocky coast. 11 hours!
It’s an unforgettable experience overlooking Cliff of Moher under sunny condition. Although the coach ride was 3hour journey but the scenery has keep visitors enticed.
We really enjoyed the tour! It is a long day and a lot of time spent on the bus but I didn’t have different expectations. The stop at the Cliffs was perfect and they brought us to a restaurant (The Frantic Chef) afterwards which was delicious! Overall the tour was exactly what we were looking for.
The Cliffs oh Moyer were so spectacular. The weather cleared a bit twice during our visit to allow us a good view. Keep in mind it’s quite a very long day. We would recommend staying somewhere closer and not take the 7 hour bus ride.
What made the trip even more difficult was our TERRIBLE tour lead DJ. He is for sure the rudest tour “guide” I’ve ever encountered. He was very abrasive, less than helpful and it felt as though he was angry with his job!
He also was a very terrifying driver! He “ hard breaking” all day making the journey quite bad and we worried we would be in an accident!,
Please check your driver before going and if it’s DJ, run fast and find another provider other than Paddy Wagon.
There is a long time spent on bus but itbis worth it. My driver was Connor and he was absolutely fabulous telling stories and giving snippets of history. We also stopped at an excellent restaurant for lunch.
Unfortunately, the experience could not be enjoyed at all due to very poor visibility, heavy fog and rain. We were unable to see virtually anything along the route.
In weather conditions like these, I believe there should be a member of staff on site to assess visibility before departure and inform customers when the tour cannot realistically provide the experience they paid for, rather than allowing it to proceed as normal.
As the advertised experience could not effectively be provided, I am requesting a full refund.
Fantastic tour!! Plenty opportunities for photos. Driver/guide was great. Would recommend to new travelers to Ireland.
If you crave the raw cruelty of an Irish veteran, suffocating dominance, and absolute cold-blooded control—book this tour. Look for this man.
On this desolate rain-soaked land, your dignity means nothing. You’re dragged through the mud, forced to surrender, begging in the cold for his relentless authority to crush whatever is left of you.❤️❤️
Noah was an excellent guide and Brian a great driver. The cliffs were beautiful. Would’ve been better to stop somewhere with more options for lunch than a stand alone restaurant but overall the trip was nice.
We rented a car for our stay but it was nice to be driven around so we could really take in the sights. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. The landscape is gorgeous and well worth the price of the tour.
It was fun, we enjoyed it a lot, specially with Connor (our tour guide/driver) no dull moments and we learned so much about the history, mythical stories and legends about Ireland.
The cliffs are beautiful as is the Irish countryside but most of the time is spent riding in the bus. I would have liked an added stop to break up the travel.
Very long journey with very short stops. 2 hours to Limerick to pick up more passengers, then 1.5 hours to destination. We were given just 75 minutes at the cliffs, which did not allow time to get round the exhibition centre. Then a rushed lunch stop (but sufficient on reflection) - followed by a further miandering drive around The Burren, then another too short a stop at Bunraty Castle and shops.
There was no stop in Limmerick, no walk at The Burren, and the advertised photo used to show the cliffs from below was not even on the agenda.
Operators tried to fit too much into the agenda, with little time to enjoy the sites - far too long on the coach
Dress in layers as the weather is unpredictable and rain can appear suddenly. The driver provided a wonderful litany of expertise as we traveled pointing out important historical monuments, buildings, and legends along the way. Bring some cash for a hot or cold lunch. If tipping is not in your culture, please remember to tip the driver who has provided you with a safe, fun, relaxing, and day full of memories.
It was a lot of driving with little time at the cliffs. The driver’s driving was aggressive and made some of the passengers uncomfortable.
Connor our guide was amazing- he adjusted to some unforeseen circumstance with great skill. Scenery was truly lovely.
It was a great tour. Only thing I would change was where we had lunch. I would have rather spent that time in the area where we stopped for only 45 minutes with restaurants, castle and shops. I would have enjoyed spending more time there.
Its amazing nature trip and friendly driver. First time experience in Ireland travel and a long way trip i saw a lot of castle. Thank for the Paddywagon, see you in my next destination.
Prepare for a long day and lots of driving time. However, if you get the driver named Paul, he will make your day enjoyable.
So beautiful, informative, and amazing tour guide! Kevin was wonderful, caring, engaging and funny. He had good recommendations wherever we went. He was a very safe driver and we enjoyed him, and the tour, very much.
Driver/guide was terrible, very rude and unfriendly. Worst experience ever. Everyone in the bus was unhappy with him.
Great way to see the countryside. Long day on the bus but comfortable. Our driver Michael was wonderful
Great trip. Comfortable bus. Tour guide was insightful and prepared. The stops were short when necessary but plenty of time at the most important ones.
A very long day to see the cliffs, this trip does Not cover the wild Atlantic way or Blackhead or Galway Bay as advertised!!
Very disappointing.
We do not recommend especially from Cork as you are on a coach for 9 ish hours!!!!!!
Absolutely recommend. The views for The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking. So glad I booked this experience
We didn’t visit all the spots we were promised the air-conditioning on the bus broke. The site and the weather is beautiful..
Great way to see some of Ireland in the more remote locations. Our guide Noah provided information about the area that was very interesting.
Cliff are amazing! Long bus ride to the Cliffs from Cork. Would be much shorter drive from Galway! WiFi didn’t work on Paddywagon bus and the bus made a loud squeaking noise which made it hard to relax in the bus. Definitely have had much better tour guides.
The tour was a great way to see the cliffs without driving on my own through the countryside. It was stunning once we arrived. We were able to walk around on our own, take pictures, and explore the gift shop. I would have loved to have stayed there longer than the time allotted but you are on time constraints while on a tour, so it was expected. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. We listed to traditional Irish music during the whole tour. It was a great experience and I would recommend it!
