Fall Fun in Barney
Darren gave us a glimpse of true Irish life on this tour. We enjoyed history, nature and delicious food! The scenic routes and the friendly conversation led to a delightful and charming day! He allowed us to choose the pace of the day and spend as much or as little time at each of the attractions. Strolling the gardens in the late fall at Barney Castle was unforgettable! The colors were beautiful and there were really no crowd. We are already planning to go back for more shopping at the woollen mills. A very relaxing day. We would highly recommend this your.

Amazing Food Tour in Cork
Kate was an amazing guide who knew an amazing amount about the local food scene and local history. Her walk through of the English Market and the selection of foods we got to sample was outstanding! Very grateful for the tour and would recommend to others.

Fabulous Day Trip to Blarney and Kinsale
Everything about this trip was fabulous. After debarking from our cruise ship, we followed directions and the clearly visible personnel with red hats and Butlers Shore Tours signs to reach our tour bus in less than 5 minutes. Within minutes of all booked cruise passengers being on-board the bus (and ahead of schedule), we took off for Blarney Castle and arrived about 10 minutes before the grounds opened. We went straight to the castle/stone. My husband and I were the 5th and 6th Blarney Stone kissers of the day, which allowed us to spend the remaining time enjoying the castle grounds and gardens, the town of Blarney and the Woollen Mills. After leaving Blarney, we drove through Cork and made a quick stop at Charles Fort before arriving at Kinsale for a leisurely lunch and early afternoon stroll through town. Following lunch, we returned to Cobh and visited the Cobh Cathedral. Jamie, our tour guide, provided interesting history and stories the entire drive time, and Zach, our coach driver, expertly navigated traffic. We highly recommend Butlers for cruisers or others visiting the Cobh/Cork area. Thanks for a great day!

Our private tour of Cork...
Our private tour of Cork with Noel was a truly exceptional experience. Noel was an outstanding guide who shared his deep knowledge of the city and its history with great enthusiasm. We were particularly captivated by his passion for Ireland's struggle for independence; he brought this pivotal period to life with compelling stories and insights.
Beyond the historical details, Noel was also very open and friendly, patiently answering all of our questions about what life is like in Ireland today. His genuine love for his country was evident in every story he told, making the tour both informative and incredibly personal. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Cork and Ireland as a whole. We highly recommend Noel for anyone seeking a knowledgeable and passionate guide.

Excellent self guided tour
I chose this self guided tour as I had limited time in Cork before a longer harbour tour. Very impressed with the quality and clarity of the commentary and the ease of use of the app. Guides you around all the important sights in the central city area. Also adjusts to your own pace and allows for stopping along the way. Budget friendly option too!

Great People Are Difference-Makers
Extremely friendly, fun, energetic and knowledgeable young man. Wish I had his name, but he took our group (3pm Sunday, August 3rd) to school on Jameson & Midleton history, distilling, etc. literally, everything one should know to the Nth Degree. He’s quite the Representative for your brands and should be in line for raises, promotions and moving up the Corporate ladder, long-term. He’s a keeper who my wife & I throughly enjoyed.

Charmed By Blarney! ☘️
IWe had an amazing time on the excursion with Sean! His enthusiasm, knowledge, and great sense of humor made the entire day unforgettable. Each stop was well-planned and offered a unique slice of Irish culture and history.
Blarney Castle & Gardens was absolutely magical. Sean gave us just the right amount of time to explore, kiss the Blarney Stone, and enjoy the stunning grounds. Blarney Woollen Mills, is the perfect place for picking up quality souvenirs.
St. Anne’s Church was another highlight—ringing the Shandon Bells and seeing panoramic views of Cork City was something we will never forget. And finishing up at the English Market, where Sean shared some fun facts (including Queen Elizabeth II’s visit!), was the perfect end to a delightful tour. Sean also walked us down to a really great pub called Clancy’s and made sure that we got a table for lunch.
Sean’s passion for Irish heritage really shone through, and his engaging commentary brought each location to life. Highly recommend this excursion and especially Sean as your guide. Thanks Sean for sharing your stories & music! ☘️
