I just can’t say enough great things about this tour and our wonderful guide, Faye. We saw all of the major sites of the Old City, with each one being carefully explained regarding its history and significance. Plus we had a wonderful breakfast at a local bakery, a stop at a shop specializing in Corfiot kumquat products, a small grocery and deli to sample local meats and cheeses, a huge lunch at a very friendly taverna, and finally excellent gelato to wind up the tour. Highly recommended!!

A fantastic food walking tour in the heart of Corfu Town. Gordana was a fantastic guide providing lots of relevant Corfu history as well talking us through the various foods sampled during the tour. We were warned in advance to only have a light breakfast and rightly so as the food leading all the way up to the lunch and ice cream finale was substantial, tasty and satisfying. All the stops were very well organised and we loved this experience.

We had a fabulous time! Vasia taught us about her beautiful city, the food was delicious (and there was plenty of it!) and we enjoyed walking through the walled city with its quaint surroundings. We lucked out having such a fun host!

Irene was a gracious and informative host throughout the Corfu Town Food Tour. Her knowledge of the city was remarkable as she skillfully led our small group through many narrow walkways and open plazas. The 3 greek pies at the first restaurant were memorable, as well as the sampling of Lazaris liquors, nougat, and kumquats goodies. That said, the tour leaned more historical and less about the food, which I was hoping for the later.
If you decide to drive please allow ample time to find parking as Corfu Town was already packed by the time we arrived for the 9:30am tour. Tip: Pay to park (3 euros) in the parking lot. When leaving, pay before returning to your vehicle, as there are no pay stations at the exit gate.

This walking food tour, led by the charming Sophia, was the highlight of our visit to Corfu. We were a group of 8 seniors on our first trip to Greece, and we will treasure the sights, sounds, and smells of our journey through both old and new Corfu Town. Sophia and the hosts of the places we visited gave us a day to long remember. All of the food was delicious (although breakfast was the favorite of all,) beautifully presented, and a wonderful contribution to our knowledge of Greek food and culture.
