Sri lLnka at it's beast

From the moment we were picked up at the airport and for the entire week we were treated wonderfully thanks to our guide Herman Bandara and his knowledge, attentiveness, great tour guide skills and patience. The hotels were great, the driving distances well planned, , we did not have anything to do but be present, all was taken care of for us.

A wonderful introduction to Sri Lanka

A fantastic trip. A great introduction to Sri Lanka. Our driver was informative, fun and a great driver. Everything was well organised and he was flexible to take in our needs. All the places we visited were worthwhile and Mahendra (guide and driver) made sure we were at the right place and right time to see what we wanted and needed to see. He also answered every question we had. He also went above and beyond by finding a place that Jo wanted to find. The hotels were all of a good standard and the meals were excellent. Fully recommend this tour.

Educational Whirlwind Tour

Our Journeyscape Tour was well organised and we always felt well looked after. Our guide/driver Hermen was very courteous and conscientous, and genuinely cared about our enjoyment and well being. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the attractions on our tour as well as Sri Lanka and it's history. He did not hesitate to go out of his way for us when we wanted to stop or go a bit off the schedule. Our days were tightly scheduled and there was a lot of driving. The food was a feast for the senses, at the hotels and on the road. The highlights were Sirigisa at sunrise, Dambulla, Kandy at night, Nuwara Eliya, and the Galle Fort. The hotel accommodation was very comfortable (we particularly liked the Thilanka Hotel in Kandy and the Mirage King's Hotel in Nuwara Eliya). All in all it was a very busy tour and developed a deep appreciation for this multicultural and geographically diverse country. Would highly recommend Journeyscape and feel we received good value for money.
