Must do in Chongqing! Legend contacted me shortly after booking with contact info and pick up instructions. He was very puntual. Car was perfect and 2hr drive went by very fast. Legend shared A LOT of information not only about Dazu but also China, which was fascinating for us. We’re not English native speakers, so his perfect American accent made it so easy for us to understand. Lunch was AMAZING! Delicious hot pot. And both sites visited were truly wonderful. Would do it again and recommend it!

Legend has a very deep knowledge and made our trip very enjoyable. He speaks English fluently. It was also very nice to try the local fresh cuisine for lunch. He also made us very comfortable throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

We were lucky to have Legend as our driver-guide again for this tour. Dazu has magnificent carvings, which we appreciated all the more because of Legend’s deep knowledge of Buddhism and local history. Lunch was again very tasty - this time it was a local fish hotpot. Definitely would recommend.

Legend is a great tour guide who drove us safely to Dazu to see the rock carvings at Baoding and Beishan. He kindly explained to us the history and meaning for the shrines. For lunch, we ate suen cai yu (酸菜鱼) at a local restaurant. It was really filling and delicious 🤤 You can count on Legend for a great day! 👍

Our tour guide, Legend Kung was forthcoming and helpful. I am a deaf man. Legend Kung typed painstakingly for me.

Very good tour overall. Highly recommend Legend as your guide because he’s a direct, no non-sense, detailed guide who provides clear explanations of the carvings. You won’t feel rushed even though we went thru the carvings in a timely manner.

It's a fantastic place to visit. Our driver, Legend, was great. On time, friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. We didn't have to worry about anything. He talked us through the two ancient sites and knew all that was expected of him. His English was excellent. He organised an interesting lunch experience. I would go again without question.

On our second day, we had the privilege of exploring the historic Dazu Rock Carvings with Legend as our guide, and it was another unforgettable experience! His detailed explanations of the intricate carvings and their historical and cultural significance added so much depth to our visit. Legend’s passion for history and storytelling truly brought the site to life.
He also introduced us to an amazing lunch, featuring Sichuan pickles with river fish soup (sauerkraut river fish soup), which was absolutely superb! It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves further in the local culture.
Legend’s attentiveness, knowledge, and ability to create a memorable experience make him an outstanding guide. We are so grateful for his guidance and can’t recommend him enough for anyone visiting Dazu or beyond.

Great visit to the Dazu Ancient Rock Carvings which was truly a journey back in time, surrounded by serene landscapes and fascinating history. Legend, my guide, truly brought this ancient site to life with his storytelling, sharing the rich history and cultural significance of each carving. The setting was peaceful and allowed us to fully enjoy the place. Lunch was another highlight—absolutely delicious and perfect complement to the day. Legend made the trip seamless and enjoyable; his knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced the experience greatly. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Chongqing!

Awesome rock carvings with stories to tell. Well deserving as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Guide - Legend Kuing was most knowledgeable to share everything about the history, beliefs, teachings, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, took away so much with us. Highly recommended👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Legend is amazing as a guide! We wanted to see the Dazu carvings, but knew that if we went alone we would miss out on so much of the history and information that are behind the carvings. I'm so glad we chose to go with Legend instead of a larger tour group (we also toured Wulong with him and would recommend him for that as well!). The attention to detail, the local dining experience we enjoyed, the information behind the carvings was well worth the cost of the tour. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our many questions, as well as more than helpful when he didn't need to be - he assisted us with doing a nighttime river cruise that was above and beyond what was required, as we were not using his services for that tour. When the local travel company wouldn't assist us with a nighttime cruise, we contacted Legend for help and he came through for us with flying colors and ended up saving us money in the long run. He took very good care of us! We will return to Chongqing next year and plan to look him up not just as a helpful guide but as a friend.

Excellent excursion and guide. The explanation and details provided by the guide enriched the visit of cultural value. The sculptures carved in stones are very interesting and are preserved despite the time. The guide included a delicious and healthy traditional meal with a local family. I highly recommend the excursion.
