The view was amazing even though it was rainy. It’s definitely a place worth visiting especially for nature lovers. Take note that there’s quite a fair bit of walking that might be taxing on young kids and elderly. Legend is a reliable and brilliant guide. He’s very knowledgeable and shared many stories and tips to keep us entertained during the long drive to Wulong. I truly appreciate his patience and kindness in helping me to take care of my elderly mother and yong daughter. Highly recommended to join his tour.

Legend was a fantastic guide and I'm grateful we were able to meet him on our journey. Wulong was not a short drive, but it went by quickly thanks to his engaging conversation and commentary along the way, patiently answering all of our first-timer questions while sharing his experiences in traveling to various spots in the US and around the globe. His experience shows immediately (he does this tour multiple times a week) in how well he has all the steps and stops timed out and paced. We were able to nerd out about camera gear a bit, and it was a nice touch for him to help make sure that some of the ideal shots weren't missed along the way. Often on tours lunch can be a bit of a coin toss, but the location he picked was actually well-suited for being a bit more conservative on spice (me) or as adventurous as we might want to be (my wife). Thanks so much for your time Legend, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and I hope our paths cross again!
Our tour guide Legend runs a slick show from start to finish, pick up time spot on , vel equiped and modern vehicle , gok conversation along the way and smile time to joy th hot hit the shy spots in the attraction,

Lunch was a highlight and being able bodied we managed to get through the day in ample time,

The Wulong tour is absolutely worth it. The scenery is truly spectacular, and the landscapes are even more impressive in person. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend visiting this incredible place.
Our guide, Legend Kung, was very good and made the experience enjoyable. He spoke excellent English, which made it easy to understand the history, geology, and interesting facts about Wulong. He was organized, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the day.
Overall, it was a fantastic tour, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Legend is the best!. He’s been doing this for 15+ years — he knows so much about the history of the area and made the whole trip way more interesting than if we’d just toured a on our own.
His English was great and he was super responsive from pre-trip through day of. He was also really patient with our group — we had an elderly family member and a young kid with us, and he adjusted the pace and looked out for both of them.
He also gave us a bunch of good tips for things to do in Chongqing outside of the tour, which was a nice bonus.
Would definitely recommend Legend if you’re heading to Wulong!
Wulong is amazing. You'll be in awe, I promise. One of the best excursions outside of any city that we've had...and Legend, our guide, is one of the best. The drive was quite pleasant with great views along the way and good chats with Legend. He shares so much about Wulong. His pride for his country beams when he talks...a really good guy and tour guide. This is one of those 'must do' experiences if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy
Incredible views and sights visiting the natural park. Legend was knowledgable, friendly, and knew where all the great shots should be taken. Lunch was a delicious hotpot and very accommodating as we're vegan.
Our guide was friendly, punctual and got us safely to and from the destination, which involved a long drive. He shared many interesting facts throughout the journey, and his English was very good. It came as quite a surprise to me that he spoke with such a strong American accent. When I asked him about it, he explained that he had deliberately cultivated an American accent because he liked its relaxed style compared with a British accent, which he felt sounded more formal.
As we walked through Wulong National Park, he pointed out the best viewpoints for photographs and suggested where we should stand to get the best shots. He also kindly offered to take family photos for us at several locations, which we really appreciated.
The restaurant chosen for lunch was very quiet, although the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. We were also a little surprised that our guide used his bare hands to place food into the communal hot pot.
In keeping with his relaxed conversational style, he occasionally used American slang and swear words in conversation. It didn’t bother us personally, but some travelers, particularly families with young children, may find it unexpected.
One other thing to note, the tour is inclusive of bottled water. It wasn’t given to us automatically. We had to ask for it.
Overall, we appreciated his kindness and the effort he put into the day. Wulong National Park is a beautiful destination and well worth visiting, but it is a long drive from Chongqing, making for a very full day. Our guide made the logistics easy, and we enjoyed the experience overall.
Legend by name, legend by nature! Our guide and driver Legend was simply outstanding — informative, funny, and with excellent English that made every explanation a pleasure. He knew exactly where to stop for the best photos, had umbrellas ready for us, and even lent me his jacket when I needed it. Those personal touches made all the difference. A genuinely wonderful day at Wulong national Park with someone who clearly loves what he does. Highest possible recommendation — ask for Legend, you won’t regret it!
Legend did a great job with this tour- he really optimized routes and plans to make for the best experience. He gave us lots of tips and was an engaged tour guide- great person to learn about life in China from someone with super English. Delicious lunch at a local place with fresh ingredients and was thoughtful about ordering foods we would like - but super authentic. The destination was beautiful and highly recommend if you want to see some scenic natural sights near Chongqing. Be prepared for crowds though.
Legend took us on a great trip! He’s really funny and knowledgeable and took us on a great adventure. We explored the 3 bridges at a nice pace and just had time to soak in the beauty. Then we had a delicious hot pot and got home efficiently.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Legend! Our day trip to Wulong National Park was seamless from start to finish. Legend picked us up right at our hotel, and the journey to the park was comfortable and well-paced.
The tour was impeccably organized, and Legend’s excellent time management meant we always knew what was coming next. He skillfully guided us through the busy entrance gates, helping us avoid the crowds and long lines - a true testament to his experience and local knowledge.
Once inside the park, we were captivated by the scenery. The mountainside walk, the 360 degree elevator ride down, and the scenic paths on the ground were all breathtaking. Legend kept the experience engaging throughout, sharing fascinating insights and tips while pointing out every perfect photo opportunity along the way.
Lunch was a highlight as well - an incredibly delicious local soup with seasonal bamboo shoots, sprouts, cabbage, smoked tofu, noodles, mushrooms, and more. It was flavorful without being too oily or spicy, a delightful contrast to the cuisine we’d been having in Chongqing.
Overall, our day with Legend was exceptional. His professionalism, knowledge, and warmth made the trip unforgettable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Wulong National Park!
We selected this tour based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. Legend Tours is so professional and for us our trip was first time to this national park. Having Legend with us felt like he was one of our family. The park is spectacular and very unique. We needed to be warm due to the time of year. The bonus was the restaurant visit. We really felt like royalty and the food was superb. We felt very honoured to have met Legend and have no hesitation in recommending.

He provided fantastic commentary (in English - fully fluent), which made the experience much more enjoyable on many levels. The lunch was lowkey the best hotpot I’ve had (wonderful combination of quality, flavor and freshness). Highly recommend!

He shared fascinating anecdotes about the site, gave excellent tips for taking great photos, and spoke perfect English. As a bonus, he introduced us to a delicious local specialty. My tour guide, Legend, picked me up from my hotel at 7:30AM before we made the (approximately) 3 hour drive to Wulong National Park. We were able to get to know each other a little and discuss interesting topics along the way. Legend speaks perfect English, so there was no communication barrier to worry about.
We started off by walking along the cliff edge before taking the glass elevator down and beginning our walk through the Three Natural Bridges. The clouds were quite low the day I visited creating an almost misty effect, which made the whole place look incredible & moody.
The landscape and setting really were quite special - I've never been anywhere like that before. The Three Natural Bridges are basically huge, open caves that you can walk through from one to the next. They are absolutely massive and make you feel so small.
We finished the trip by eating at a local hostel / restaurant. The food was very tasty, plentiful & locally sourced. It was definitely an authentic offering, and very fresh.

Wulong is a beautiful place that’s well worth a day trip if you’re in Chongqing. The lunch that our tour guide Legend ordered was a feast that we enjoyed immensely. Only downside would be that it’s a 3hr trip each way, although Legend is a very safe driver and his vehicle is very clean & comfortable.

One of the best tours we’ve had in awhile. Are guide was so kind and helpful. He spoke amazing English and provided terrific info throughout the tour. The lunch was also a top highlight of the time as it was some of the most delicious local cuisines we had during our entire trip.
It was just the right choice. Reaching the park is not easy from Chongqing so having a guide and driver was really convenient. On top of this, Legend was a great guide, he really knows all the best spots and will give you really valuable insights.

One of the highlights was the traditional lunch he arranged at a local restaurant, which was incredibly flavorful and served in huge portions, easily one of the best meals we had in China. He speaks excellent English and explained everything clearly, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. He also drove safely and efficiently throughout the long day, which gave us peace of mind. This tour exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend booking with Legend if you want a memorable and authentic Wulong experience.
Long drive but traffic wasn’t too bad as it was mostly on the toll roads. The park was really nice and wasn’t too busy the day that we went. We spent around 2 hours at the park and lunch was included.
Great experience with Legend, really enjoyed our day in the park and the lunch was 10/10. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nature outing near Chongqing.
