I loved seeing all the gorgeous green pastures with the adorable baby lambs and their mums along the way. The stone circles and Grasmere was my favorite stops…mystical and magical! Stuart was our amazing guide who made sure we were all quite delighted with the experiences….so wonderful to be traveling again and meeting new people from all over the world! Thank you, Stuart, for a beautiful day in the lovely Lake District!!

Shelley was a great guide. Told lovely stories, was kind and approachable. The stops were chosen well, in particular Blae Tarn. We would have had longer if we hadnt had to wait for some late arrivals, but Shelley did her best to make up ground.

The stone circle was amazing. The time allocated for Grasmere was more than adequate. The drive though the mountains was quite beautiful. The driver’s skill was evident. His history needs to be fact-checked because he got names and relationships wrong. He depended on tapes to fill in the blanks in his narration. He was personable and attentive.

Tour guide Gerry is awesome. The tour is a must go tour in Chester. Ginger bread is be try nice, and I regret I only bought 6 pieces.

It’s not about memorable experience it’s about the kindness of our guide. We were stuck in traffic for 1.5 hours because of some accident in Windmere lake & at this moment our guide jumped off the car & brought some drinking water for all of us. I was astonished to see his kindness & professionalism. Love to be a part of this kind of tour with viator again.
P.S I am sorry to forget our guide’s name who was the guide of Lake District on 3rd of June, 2023. Please convey him our gratitude & love for being such a wonderful guide.❤️❤️

Me and my mum had the best time, our driver/tour guide Lee was absolutely brilliant and Lee driving along the single country lanes was very impressive “safety driver” 🤩
The Lake District is absolutely worth seeing, the scenery was stunning.
We visited various areas and loved them them all. We highly recommend this tour.
Absolutely no complaints - will happily book again with busybus for another tour.

My mum and I had simply the best time on this trip to The Lakes. Our tour operator, Frank, was absolutely brilliant - chatty, friendly, funny and full of interesting facts and info. We went right into the mountains which was simply stunning (and exhilarating! Frank is a bloody excellent driver!)
We learnt loads, saw the most breathtaking views, had lots of laughs and more.
I highly recommend and will definitely be looking to do another trip when I can! Thank you!

This was a really amazing tour with an exceptional tour guide. Shelly was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the entire tour. The boat ride on Lake Windermere, the visits to the villages, the stop at Blea Tarn and spotting the Herdy sheep was all incredible. A really enjoyable day! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Busy bus driver Shelley happily greeted us. Throughout the journey, Shelley's professionalism for passenger safety and kindness showed throughout the day. Her respect for passengers was a pleasure to see, and her captivating knowledge of places en route was exciting to hear for passenger enjoyment. The day trip was a new, relaxing experience for us to sit back without the stress of driving and taking in the wonders the Lake District has to offer. Adrian was a fantastic tour guide, very entertaining and knowledgeable. We loved the views in the Lake district, especially the boat trip across Windermere :) we were blessed with sunny weather (in November) and had a lovely walk though a small part of the lake district as well as visiting Ambleside, Grasmere and Castlerigg. The gingerbread is divine and I loved seeing all the sheep! The only unfortunate part was how long we were in the minibus for, though Adrian kept us well entertained throughout.

We booked busy bus tours because we wanted to visit the lake district. It was the highlight of our stay in Chester. Frank our driver for the day was brilliant from the start he made everyone feel welcome his knowledge and sense of humour was simply brilliant. I would recommend this trip not only for the exceptional scenery but also excellent service well worth the cost.
