At the main front entrance gates of an old historic building called the Bluecoat (known also as Bluecoat Chambers) on School Lane, L1 3BX Your guide will wear the colour purple. If you are at the back of Bluecoat on College Lane, go to the front on School Lane. THIS IS NOT Blue Coat Grammar School.

Information and fun walking tour where you learn so much about the Beatles and their connection to Liverpool. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and told great stories, did a good job ensuring everyone could hear, and was able to answer all our questions. A very informative history of the Beatles and the city of Liverpool. And how the Mersey beat came about. I learnt a lot more about their music and the dynamics of them coming together and evolving into the great band they became. Have always loved their music but now have an even greater appreciation of it. The guide, Simon, was obviously a Beatles tragic and also loves the city.

This was the BEST walking tour we’ve EVER taken!!! Tracey shared so MANY details of the Beatles and their lives that we felt like we grew up with them!! She was so passionate about everything she shared with us❤️❤️She was enthusiastic, kind, caring and showed us so many photos to back up her stories and showed us so many things around Liverpool that we would have NEVER noticed on our own!!! There is a lot of information which is great but there was too much standing around. There should be head phones so the tour guide can talk as we walk. The heat was very bad the day of our tour and that added to the discomfort of standing , often in the sun

Terry is okay but not particularly talkative, while walking he needs to describe more. Also, he really needs to use electronics (earbuds microphone ) to hear him more clearly). He knows the basics about the Beatles but does not seem to be a specialist/fan of the Beatles. Someone has taught him what to say but he’s not an enthusiast.

The tour was really special as I got to experience Beatles history right in front of my eyes. The walk wasn’t too long and we got lucky because it didn’t rain. Tracey did an amazing job keeping us engaged, explaining everything along the way and answering all our questions. 10/10 experience.

It was a little tricky to find the start point, Google Maps takes you to the wrong side of the building but…they’ll come looking there :) There’s a snack bar and bathroom before you start.
Mike was fantastic! Three in done Liverpool history which helps you understand the time the Beatles lived in. Really great tour! Interesting and fun!
