I received a message from Paul our guide to give us a little information the evening prior to the trip which was useful
In the morning Paul arrived promptly and we settled into a very comfortable and well air conditioned car
Paul was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and an excellent guide throughout
All stops on the tour were interesting and Paul gave us more information than we would have had if we had just taken a taxi and gone by ourselves
I did not feel rushed at any point but had plenty of time to see what I wanted to see
We didn’t have lunch in the end but that was because we were not hungry and it was our choice - I hope you weren’t too hungry,Paul!
This was our first full day in the Philippines and was a great way to start our trip
If you want to learn a bit about the history and culture of the Philippines and see some great views, then this is a brilliant trip

Paul is an excellent tour guide and a joy to be around. With only one day to spend being a tourist for a work trip, Paul showed us a lot including cultural sites, historic sites, differing religious sites, a beautiful garden area with incredible views. A lovely day with great company. Someone who knows well how to navigate the traffic of the area.

We did a private historical tour with Angel. His knowledge of history and the places we visited was exceptional. He spoke really good English she was easy to understand. He didn’t rush us. We had enough time at each place. We stopped and had a great lunch of luchon. He went above and beyond showing us a few locations on the way home to have good food and get drinks in the evening. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Paul, was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He offered us flexibility and we were never rushed. He told us often to “take your time.” He even made some last minute adjustments, with our approval, due to inclement weather. We recommend this tour, with Paul, very highly.

Excellent trip overall. Paul - our guide and driver in one person - connected with us and introduced himself by WhatsApp a day before the trip. On the day of excursion he showed up promptly and turned out to be polite, friendly and in great command of English. In his comfortable and well air conditioned car, we covered all points of interest listed in the tour description, but did it in a flexible way, spending more or less time in different places, depending on our preferences. The tour included delicious lunch at a lechon restaurant. We appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and learn many important facts about Cebu history. The itinerary was designed well and our guide made sure we returned in good shape and spirits around 6:30pm. We would highly recommend this tour and would be glad to have Paul as our guide in the future.

I'm not always a huge fan of city tours, but this one was definitely worth it. It was incredibly educational and fun. The places we went to in the Itinerary were all worth it.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the sites that we visited and was conscious of our wellbeing during the entire journey. We enjoyed interacting with Mr. Regen Paul Diaz and having small talk about various subjects. He was an excellent guide.

We were asked to start the tour earlier to beat the traffic. We agreed to be picked up at 8.30 am. at that time, we were informed that the pickup is pushed back to 9.00 am. We were picked up by someone who took us to the first stop Basilica Minora. At this point, we were not sure whether he is the driver or/and the tour guide. It turner out later that he is both, we never got an introduction, a welcome or anything. Writing this review. we still don't even know his name. The driver never communicated a full sentence during the entire trip, no information were given to a anything we visited. Hence the visits were done within 5 minutes and therefore, we were asked at 10.40 am already whether we want to have lunch (as a reminder, we were picked up at 9 am., arrived at the first Basilica at 9.40). We declined to have lunch at 10.40 and asked to be transported to the next sight where at this point, he did not even care to walk with us but parked his car.
We shortened the trip as there is no point in spending hours in a car and being dropped off like a piece of luggage. We skipped lunch altogether and the Sirao Pictoral Garden.
We paid more than USD 150 for essentially a taxi ride which would have cost us a tiny fraction of what we paid. This 'tour' felt like a big scam to us.
We would advise any traveller to take a taxi to the first four sights Basilica Minore, Magellan Cross (just in front of the Basilica), the National Museum (just cross the street I'd the Basilica) and the Fort San Pedro (30 meter walk from the National Museum). and then grab a second taxi for the Taoist temple and Temple of Leah (both are beautiful, and worth a visit).
We are also disappointed by Viator that such a company is approved on its platform. We never experienced anything this bad on Get Your Guide.
Again. this tour is a scam. You pay big amount of money for a driver but not a tour or your guide.

We just got hit by a typhoon, I was injured and impossible for me to do the tour. I sincerely apologize for my actions. I enjoyed my private tour of the city, because I am a people person. I make connections better in a small group setting. I learned a lot about the history, city, people and culture of Cebu. I recommend learning basics knowledge about Cebu history and its people before exploring other areas of interest. Paul my tour guide receives a high rating for courtesy, knowledge, safe driving and being a good person.

Excellent service from Regen, our driver, with the well known Filipino hospitality included with every stop 🇵🇭. All the stops are very unique from learing about Magellan's Cross to Leah's Temple overlooking Cebu. If you are in Cebu for a short time by all means book this tour. You'll experience most of the attractions that are common in Cebu along with great photo opportunities to make at every stop.
