the transportation is essential and bring pesos for breakfast and lunch and souvenirs. The temple of Leah has a shop. Although the lunch I paid with card. The shops near the little Amsterdam are tasty treats. I was given the option of personalized tour and your experience may be better. Overall great guide. Love ya Caryl!

This tour is good. Cyrus is very kind and attentive. The Leah temple isn’t that great but everything else is good. It was a nice tour with a nice vibe and interesting places. However, the tour is too much car which isn’t ideal. Too much time in car, traffic and City. Nevertheless, it’s a good tour.

I was, like, a bit on the fence about booking this after seeing a review where someone's reservation got canceled. Super glad I took the chance though. I booked just a few hours before and headed to the meeting point. These folks are crazy punctual, and since everyone showed up early, we actually got rolling about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The whole experience was pretty awesome - our guide Rowel was totally amazing and made everyone feel welcome.
Love how Rowel was so knowledgeable about all the places, even when we were just driving by them. I honestly wouldn't have learned half as much about Cebu if I'd just visited these sites on my own. Noticed some other tour groups at different spots, but they were basically just taking photos. Even chatted with some other travelers who mentioned their guides didn't really explain much - just rushed them through for pictures. Our experience was way more authentic and informative, y'all.

I had a fantastic day exploring with Psyche as our guide and Jose behind the wheel. Learned plenty about Cebu in just one day, mon! The tour operator made a smart move changing the itinerary to skip the 10000 roses attraction - it was too far from Cebu City anyway. Looking back, that was the right call considering how heavy the traffic was. The whole experience gave me a proper taste of Cebu without wasting too much time on the road!

Absolutely brilliant day exploring Cebu City! It was definitely a smooth experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Magellan's Cross and the Basilica were fascinating historical sites with beautiful architecture. Fort San Pedro offered a lovely glimpse into colonial history, while the Temple of Leah provided stunning panoramic views of the city.
The highlight was definitely trying authentic lechon for lunch in Rico’s Lechon- crispy, flavorful and every bit as delicious as they say! Great value for money and a wonderful way to experience Cebu's rich culture and history. Highly recommended!

The driver was perfect, but unfortunately I found the tour guide Jenner to be very poor.
Firstly, the time management was really bad. We weren’t told how long we had at any of the places, Jenner just randomly decided when time was up. Also, there was very little information provided about any of the sights.
Not only that, but lunch seemed to last for about 2 hours, it was way too long. Lunch, coupled with the fact we went to lots of souvenir shops meant we didn’t even go to the basillica, which was the thing I was most excited about by far.
The thing that really annoyed me was Jenner seemed to just decide alone that we weren’t going to the basilica. The excuse was the fact some guests were wearing shorts? But surely the solution is for them just to not go inside, they knew it was part of the tour when they booked it.
Then at the 10000 roses place we had no idea how long we were gonna be there for again. To make things worse it started raining and we had no idea where the van was.
It’s frustrating because I liked a lot of the sights - the Taoist temple and the flower garden especially, but the tour was very poorly run, and I’m really frustrated I didn’t get to see the basilica before leaving cebu.

The driver, John, was terrific. The Tour Guide, Jenner, was sub par. A 9am arrival/departure was delayed by nearly an hour. He slept between stop 2 and lunch. Stated times at one venue was 30 mins but he and others returned after an hour. Unacceptable time management.Very little commentary in the van. Drive by only of Heritage Monument where only the left side passengers could view but we sure hit all the souvenir shops. While this was booked as an English speaking tour, the guide held conversations in his language throughout the afternoon with no addition discussion for the larger group. I would not recommend this trip with this guide.

If you have nothing better to do and want to just kill time, this tour is for you. The Taoist temple is ok but not impressive. The Temple of Leah was pretty cool even though it’s just a monument built in 2012 to his wife. It has a very nice view of the city and architecture is impressive. The garden looks like a bunch of hippies made it. Unique but not worth paying to see. The fish market they brought us to smelled terrible, there was nothing to do there, and almost nothing to purchase Unless you planned on bringing some dried fish home with you in your purse. Then it took us almost an hour to get to the island where the 1000 roses are. Just FYI, the roses are plastic roses on the ends of plastic sticks lined up. The only thing we drove up to that seemed like it would have been culturally significant was the Cebu monument, But they said we was part time so we didn’t even get out. We just stopped in front of it and they told us about it. While we was at the Rose Garden Café, they told everyone what time to be at the vehicle. Half of the group got back and sat in the van half an hour, while the tour guide and a few people that I assume she was friends with sat at the café until Some group member showed up complaining saying they’ve been sitting in the van all this time. Luckily, I was in the café and seen that the others were just sitting there so I will sit there waiting. This tour makes it seem like Cebu And the Filipino people have no culture on their own or significant sites so they just bring you to random sites to get your money and it feels like a waste of time. I will say the tour guide was very personable and very friendly. The whole group in general was just a nice bunch of people that was the highlight of the trip. I’m honestly shocked it has such a high rating. I’ve been on many tours in many countries And this was absolutely the worst!

This tour experience truly made my trip. The opportunity to feel the pulse of the incredible city that is Cebu, from its origins to the present, left me feeling closer to Cebuanos and their rich culture. Cyrus was an extremely helpful and informative guide, sharing a bunch of history with us, serving as our photographer, and making sure that we all felt welcome here in Cebu. His passion for the city shows in the work that he does and the care that he puts into his tours, at multiple points it felt Cyrus was more than a guide, it felt like he was a friend. And the added bonus, was that I began this trip solo, but was able to connect with some amazing people over the course of the trip and look forward to connecting with them again in the future! Yes, traffic can be a challenge, but in 1 day you get to see a ton of what Cebu has to offer - it doesn’t get better than that. The most memorable parts of the tour was meeting the people on the tour, they were very friendly. Some of the sights were memorable but was very disappointed that although the driver was very nice he was not a tour guide which was outlined as part of the tour. Regarding your comment about the guide being "strange" - we're a bit confused by this feedback since you were actively engaging in conversations throughout the tour and even provided a tip to show your appreciation. Perhaps there was a cultural or language barrier that affected your overall impression, or this may simply be a case of meaning being lost in translation? Your 3-out-of-5 rating suggests you may have found the tour itself satisfactory but were mainly impacted by the traffic conditions, which we completely understand. While these circumstances were beyond our regular control, we'd still appreciate any specific feedback about the guide's service to help us better understand your experience.

I've been on many Viator tours, all have been a 4 or 5 rating. This tour was the worst, it's my first "1" rating.
Problems started with the pickup. We were at the right place, 30 minutes early. A 9:00am pickup turned into a 9:52am pickup
At every venue where we exited the van, the guide would say "in 25 minutes, or 15 or 35 minutes we'll be leaving." No explanation about what we were looking at. I have very little knowledge about any of the places we stopped.
While driving, she played loud music, songs that included the N-word and F-word.
Tour was advertised as ending at 17:00. We were dropped off at 20:55.
It was an expensive waste of time.

This unfortunately caused a 1 HOUR delay for the entire group. I am concerned about your feedback regarding the lack of information at the stops. Our guides are trained to provide comprehensive explanations about each location, and I regret that this was not your experience. This will be addressed in our guide training.
The choice of music during the tour was clearly inappropriate, and I apologize for any discomfort this caused. We have strict guidelines about maintaining a professional atmosphere, and this feedback will be used to reinforce these standards.
The significant delay in the tour's end time is also a concern. While some flexibility is needed during peak holiday seasons in Cebu, we should have better communicated any expected delays.

Our guide Chris was great!! (Gay person, so nice and funny) he went above and beyond to be a photographer for everyone on the tour in hot sun. ( there was 12? 14? Ppl. Full van) no fault of the guide, just the tour program... sigh. If that's all cebu city has to offer. I say skip it all together, the places we went to were all ghetto. Especially sirao garden is a joke. We still make fun of it. You decorate just tiny tiny bit and it turns into a tourist spot?? Omg. I wish I spent the day canyoning instead. Chinese temple. 10000 roses cafe. All nothing to see. Temple of Leah of ok. Nice view. Tour guide Chris was best part of tour.

Honestly wasn't expecting much (like, how exciting can a city tour be?) but it turned out to be such a vibe! 💁♀️ The flower garden in Sirao was super cute and totally dreamy! The Taoist Temple was giving total zen energy, and then we hit up this place called Temple of Leah. The live music there was a nice touch, and we could see all of Cebu from up there - pretty epic! Y'all, the Magellan's Cross site was actually kinda interesting (and I'm not even a history girl), but the real tea was at Taboan Market! Like, the dried fish smell was INTENSE, but it was such a cultural moment, you know? We wrapped up at this place with literally thousands of roses in Cordova - hello, golden hour perfection! Major bonus: met some really cool people on the tour. We even made plans to hit up some bars later! Honestly? If you're looking to see the best of Cebu while making new friends, this tour is where it's at! Your girl definitely recommends! ✨

Just got back from this ripper of a Cebu tour and had to share my experience. Being Chinese-Australian, I was pretty keen to check out the Taoist Temple - reminded me a bit of the temples my grandparents used to take me to back in China, but with this unique Filipino twist. The whole tour was absolutely bonza! Really loved how we hopped around to different spots - from the gorgeous garden at Sirao to historical sites like Magellan's Cross. The Temple of Leah was... well, not quite what I expected, but they had some live music playing which was nice, and the view of Cebu from up there was pretty spectacular! Had a blast chatting with other tourists from all over. Reminded me a bit of the backpacker vibes in Southeast Asia, but more organized, you know what I mean? The Taboan Market was heaps fun - though the dried fish smell was pretty intense! Wrapped up the day at this place called 10,000 Roses in Cordova - dead set gorgeous at sunset. Beauty of a tour, if you ask me. Would recommend 100%, especially if you're keen to meet other travelers while exploring the city.

All the sights were fantastic however we spent half of the trip going to restaurants which i did not care about the tour guide was awful there was no organization no plan nothing he will not even give us a narrative of the places we visited all he did was take pictures for the guests just to give you an example we visited this incredible monument about the history of the philippines he said nothing it was such a major disappointment

We left the tour early because it wasn’t enjoyable. Van was too small and hot, and we were packed like sardines. People on the tour were very inconsiderate and were just coughing on each other the entire time inside the van. Nobody covered their mouths when they coughed and sneezed and they exhibited a “if I’m sick, you’ll be sick too” belief
