Itinerary

Receive a pickup in the morning from your Cape Town accommodations and transfer aboard a private vehicle equipped with Wi-Fi and included on-board refreshments heading to the city’s helipad for your helicopter flight.

Step aboard your private helicopter as you take to the skies above Cape Town, admiring views of Table Mountain and the coast as you proceed on a 40-minute flight to admire the most notable landmarks and cities of the Cape Peninsula. You’ll fly like a bird above locations including Simon’s Town, Muizenberg, Mouille Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Hout Bay and Seal Island, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, and Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans converge. In addition, you’ll also glide over the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Constantia Wine Route, the Newlands area, and the University of Cape Town.

Return back to earth after your unforgettable helicopter ride and climb into private vehicle to begin the rest of your day’s sightseeing agenda. Head north out of town to reach a game reserve in Somerset West, where you’ll enjoy an up-close encounter walking and even touching the park’s resident cheetahs. Proceed from there to Ernie Els Wine Estate for your first tasting of the day, followed by a stop in Stellenbosch, and then on to the Delaire Graff Wine Estate. You’ll pause here for an included 3-course lunch with accompanying wine, followed by an additional optional tasting at Fairview Wine Estate.

Finish the day by getting another wildlife encounter at a second game reserve that’s home to a collection of tigers, lions, and chimpanzees. You’ll finish the day by returning aboard your private vehicle to Cape Town, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Please note: In the event of adverse weather conditions (strong wind), the helicopter tour will take off from the helipad in the waterfront and fly in the direction of Robben Island along the Cape West Coast pass Bloubergstrand
Should the weather conditions prevent the helicopter from flying, you will have an option to re-schedule the helicopter ride for another day
As stated by Civil Aviation Regulations all mobile/cellular phones need to be switched off during the flight and cannot be used in flight mode as the device still transmits a signal that interferes with the helicopters radios. You are welcome to take pictures or film during the flight.

We are no longer allowed to fly over the top of Table Mountain as it is has been designated as part of a national park and is a protected area.

If possible, please inform us of your combined passenger weights when making your booking. All passengers will be weighed prior to departure, however supplying us with your weights beforehand will enable us to advise you if there is a problem with the weight of the aircraft you have booked. Should the helicopter be over its weight limitation, we reserve the right to upgrade to a bigger helicopter at the passenger’s expense, or one passenger can choose not to fly.

This was a special treat for my wife.The helicopter trip was excellent. Our driver Albert was very pleasant and the wine tastings and lunch at Dellair Draaf were also top quality. It is an expensive day but worth it as a special occassion treat.

The description of this tour did not do it justice. In my mind I was thinking it was a helicopter ride around the Cape and then to the Winelands. This was not the tour it was so much more that by the end of the day we really felt that we got our monies worth. First a helicopter tour of Cape Town and the Cape point, then a Cheetah experience followed by a wine tasting an amazing lunch then a visit to the Lion Rescue and more wine tasting. Our driver Albert was exceptional providing facts and information throughout our tour. Overall a great experience.
