Cai Rang floating market is the biggest of its kind in the Mekong Delta, located just outside of Can Tho. On this morning tour, set sail around the Mekong Delta on a traditional longboat, hop off to explore the rural villages and visit a noodle factory, and experience local life at the floating market. I had the best day on this tour! My favourite day in Vietnam so far. My guide Thinh was such good company and taught me so much about local customs. I’m so glad he was my guide. We spent time seeing the floating village, went down the canals, made noodles, had breakfast and visited a houseboat too. My boat driver also made me some beautiful handmade souveniers.

It was a wonderful tour. I had Thi as my guide. She brought me to the floating market, rice noodle factory, cacao farm, and dragon fruit garden. It was so refreshing to see Vietnam’s countryside. We had Bún Mắm for lunch, a must-try local food in the Mekong Delta.

What an incredible experience and great guide. The guide was promptly at our hotel to pick us up and take us to the dock. The boat felt very authentic and was the highlight of our trip. After a 30 minute boat ride with just my family and I we arrived at the market. These boats are great because they are smaller and more privste than the other large boats with dozens of tourists you see. Breakfast and coffee was provided at one of the local boats we pulled up to it was a truly memorable experience.

Boring as batshit! Dirty river and arrived late to the markets due to slowest boat on the river. Floating markets are a shabby remnant of the past. So touristic it is sickening.

My husband and I experienced this tour led by Kyn, who was a great guide! Everything was very well organized. The floating market was fantastic! We also were served delicious soup, tasted pineapples, visited a rice noodle factory and spent some time floating down a hidden canal. We would highly recommend Kyn and this tour to anyone visiting Vietnam!

We are a family of 4 with 2 girls of 9 and 14 and we all liked this tour very much. The floating market was very interesting as well as the noodles factory ( girls loved it to try themselves to do the noodles). We did not feel like eating the breakfast at the floating market but the guide was very kind to keep asking us if we wanted anything to eat or drink. The guide was absolutely nice and professional. We really enjoyed talking to him. Also we liked the little trip to the Mekong canal to see more the country part.

Lily was an excellent guide for the 4 hour tour. As we we weren't staying in Can tho, Lily organised a driver to pick us up at the hotel and drop us off although we would definitely recommend staying in Can Tho for the night. Lily was very communicative and shared lots of interesting stories on the tour.
We got to try fresh seasonal fruit, had a delicious brunch on the boat, visited the smaller canals, noodle maker and chocolate factory. It was great to see the quieter parts of the city and witness a different way of living - we would definitely recommend this tour!

Wir haben die Tour einen Tag vorher gebucht und sofort eine Bestätigung erhalten. Unsere Guide Daisy hat uns um 5.30 im Hotel abgeholt und zum Pier gebracht, wo das Boot schon wartete. Gemeinsam mit einer wunderbaren Bootsführerin brachen wir vier „Powerfrauen“ frohgelaunt auf zum Floating Market. Die Stimmung war von Anfang an gut, Daisy hat uns mit vielen Informationen - in einem sehr guten Englisch - versorgt, unsere Fragen geduldig beantwortet und wir haben Wichtiges und Interessantes über Land, Leute, Kultur erfahren! Die Suppe im Boot war hervorragend, die kleinen Boote haben einen klaren Vorteil gegenüber den Touristenschiffen, denn sie bilden ein „schwimmendes Restaurant“ - ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Auch Besuch von Nudelfabrik und Verkostung auf dem Ananasboot waren unvergesslich. Ein weiteres Highlight war die Fahrt durch einen kleinen Seitenarm des Mekong, in dem wir einen Einblick in die urwüchsige Landschaft und das Leben am Flussufer bekamen . So verflogen die Stunden. Daisy ist eine großartige Person, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Tour ist jedem zu empfehlen, auch Ü55-Jährigen!

Pick up doo engelstalige gids per boot in ons hotel, voor een extra kost van 200k VDN. Iets te laat vertrokken waardoor zon al opgekomen was. De gids gaat met je naar de floating markt en gaat meer naar het “lokale” deel met minder toeristen. Daarna vaar je naar een lokale noedelfabriek waar je zelf rijstpapier mag stomen en snijden. Je kan hier uiteraard ook vanalles kopen. Laatste stuk gaat doorheen de kleinere kanalen van de mekong. Je bent hier bijna alleen, dus is wel leuk! Duur: 3 uur.

Afterwards, you will visit a local noodle factory where you can steam and cut your own rice paper. There is also an opportunity to purchase various items here. The final part of the tour takes you through the smaller canals of the Mekong River, where you will have a unique and almost exclusive experience. The duration of the tour is approximately 3 hours.
Regarding your comment about the sunrise, we regret to inform you that due to the location of your hotel, it is not possible to have a clear view of the beautiful sunrise. However, we hope that the rest of your tour made up for this inconvenience.
