I had a great time with Trinh. She gave me lots of information about the surroundings and recommendations about food tasting. We first went to the swimming market and had some soup, then we went to a canal and in the end we saw a beautiful garden with many fruits. In the end Tàm the boat driver gave me some self made presents. I really enjoyed the time and recommend it to anyone who likes the tour more private. Thank you for the experience

Our guide, Nga, was great. She explained everything very well. Gave us lots of food (breakfast, coffee, snacks, fruit). She showed us everything on the itinerary, and did not rush any part of it. But when getting off the boat at the market, my wife fell and hurt her hand, elbow, and knee. She was in pain for a few days. The place they docked the boat was not any kind of dock. Just a bunch of slippery rocks with green slime on them. I really hope the tour operator changes the location to a safer location (there were proper stairs just a few feet away).....I really hope nobody else gets hurt. My wife was wearing a good pair of runners, so this should never had happened.

We had a great time exploring the floating market, the noodle factory and some small rivers around the Mekong! We were lucky enough to have Nhu Ý as a guide, she explained to us so many things about the habits and the local culture in an excellent english. On top of that she was extremely nice and gentle! Along the tour we had a great breakfast and tasted fantastic local fruits; the pick up from the hotel was great and on time. 100% recommended!

Very interesting, varied and enjoyable tour. Our guide, An took us through the floating market explaining its origin and trend, she took us along small estuaries and nurseries along the banks of the river, she showed us how people here work, we visited a rice noodle and candy making activity, she showed us how people live on and off boats and explained traditions and beliefs. It was extremely interesting. An was patient, took warm care of us and answered all our questions. Great tour! The best one we had in Vietnam!

I just had the most amazing experience on the Mekong Delta floating markets morning tour from Can Tho! Our guide, Phong, was absolutely fantastic. His English was perfect, and his enthusiasm made the whole trip so much fun. The markets themselves were fascinating, and Phong explained everything in a clear and engaging way. 5 stars for our lady boat driver and personable guide. I especially enjoyed learning about the differences between Vietnamese and Chinese languages from him and how Vietnamese came to use the Roman characters. 3 stars for the market itself. Sadly for those who are hoping to see exuberant colorful floating markets, this market is not that. It is now quite small as trade has shifted to the roadways, with tourist boats and tourists outnumbering the actual market boats. Sidling up to a boat serving hot soup was quite the experience. The noodle factory, though mostly there for tourist consumption was still very interesting.

Great tour, floating market was very quiet because of Têt holiday but still a nice outing. Our Guide Phong was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and local plants, bird life. We stopped on a market boat for a coffee, tea and local fruits. The locals were very welcoming. Then we visited a rice noodle factory and participated in the making. We also visited a lovely orchard with beautiful trees and flowers.

Not really a floating market experience.

We travelled to stay in Can Tho in order to have a later start but, after 3 different messages, the tour company expected us to be up at 4.30am. This was apparently because we were upgraded to a tour of two markets. However, by the time we got to the first, local market it was closed except the boats waiting to provide food for our tour. It seemed like an early start for nothing. The fruit farm was interesting, but by the time we got to the noodle factory, they had finished production for the morning. The main reason for going this was that it was also a floating souvenir shop. Finally we stopped to have pineapple in a boat in Cai Rang. Overall, I wouldn't book this tour if you think you'll be seeing and visiting lots of boats selling goods. It is really just moving from one staged experience to another. The main market itself is a wholesale market, for locals to buy in bulk and sell on, rather than for individual buyers. It was reasonably interesting to see how the river is used, nothing more. The plastic and rubbish in the river is a bit off-putting, though that isn't the fault of the tour company. There was plenty if food included. Our guide, Dai, was great, from the moment he arrived in the morning on his motorbike to show us to our taxi! He was organised and informative despite the tour being a bit misrepresented. On the way back we were ordered a taxi at the marina but we had to pay for it ourselves even though drop off should have been included.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the unsatisfactory experience. - In fact, we upgraded from visiting Cai Rang floating market to visiting Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. Unfortunately, the tide was too low that day, so we arrived at Phong Dien market later than usual (around 6:30 am). Because of that, our boat could not reach the more beautiful canals. - We always include pick up and drop off from hotel (Can Tho city center), We will verify with the concierge, and sorry if he let you pay for the taxi. - We really appreciate the useful reviews, we will try to improve our upcoming trips.
