Great fun. Did in an extended family group aged 24-75 which worked really well. Took it in turns to read the info in a pirate accent which was fun. Most of us are from Cambridge and we still learnt a thing or too! Very well put together.

First clues very difficult despite hints. Our family & tweens started with lots of enthusiasm but didn’t make it past clue 3.

Our game is primarily designed for adults, and while kids 8+ can join in with help from an adult, I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear. We’ve had lots of families enjoy our game, but I understand it’s not for everyone.

Genuinely great fun! Incredible value for money. We are an English woman, Irishman and a Spaniard and we all loved it. 100% recommend! The Spaniard studied at Cambridge and even he saw new things and learned stuff we didn’t know.

We took our 12 yr old Grandson and we all thoroughly enjoyed the morning, there is a bit of going back and forth over the same ground at the beginning but necessary. A tip I would give is, look behind sometimes ! Great fun

Thanks - agreed about the going back and forth. In October 2022 we released a major update, re-routing to remove the repetition, fixing the misleading first clue, adding 4 new clues and lots more interesting little facts and back stories. Paul ⚔️ (co-founder)

This self-guided tour could have been so good but was let down by constantly walking down the same streets from one clue to the next. It would have been better had it been a circuitous route, with information available as you passed places of interest in between clues.

Thanks for the feedback Jan - you're absolutely right that the route is too repetitive. This was caused by a combination of designing a wheelchair accessible route, and a half-way pub stop that we've had to remove since COVID.
Regardless, we plan to re-route the game in the next few months (and re-write clues, redraw maps etc) as we've heard this from several other customers too.
