Punting on the Cam was informative and unique. The guide was charming and competent. The proliferation of commercial punting makes for a congested bumper car like experience, and you will definitely feel touristy. Also, the guides are mostly NOT Cambridge University students — they are prohibited from having jobs during school term. We had fun, but it was a cattle-call type tourist attraction. And the viator pass pre-purchase slowed down our access to the attraction as the vendor had to work through third party protocols. The walk up customers were handled with higher priority.

We took 10:15 public punt. Trip included lots of history and stories with very adept young lady in charge of getting us up and down the river. It was getting busy as we came back down the river so would suggest early trip. We all really enjoyed it - great fun, would recommend.

This is a great way to see Cambridge with 2 sons, ages 20 and 18, who arent easily entertained. We had a gorgeous day and the punting experience was so fun and entertaining

The tour is not very professional. The money is not worth. Also misleading to put 9am on the confirmation, in fact, it is not the time for boarding but their opening hour.

This was probably our 4th punting tour, we tend to take family when visiting. This was out first time with Scudamore's. The team was friendly and accommodating. The trip went well but our personal guide was not super informative and spoke very quietly so it was hard to hear him.

An amazing and interesting tour. George who took us on the tour was wonderful and friendly and gave us lots of historical information.
We also had lovely weather for it too so made it even better.
I would highly recommend this as something to do when your in Cambridge.

We went on the punting tour on a cold but beautifully sunny February. It was wonderful to see and hear all about the beautiful buildings and from the calm of a punt. The guide was excellent. I would definitely recommend it
