There are currently ongoing diversions in Cambridge, so the Sightseeing bus took adifferent route, which we were not informed of. Consequently, our journey from stop 4 at 4.10pm to stop 14 took 1hr 25mins.l!!! We were then 30mins late for our coach home to Midlands & 50 other passengers who had already boarded, had to wait for our arrival. The whole Hop on, hop off experience was very stressful & uncomfortable due to the hard plastic seats, and dreadful music, which continued despite being stuck in traffic & travelling at a snails pace!! The driver was very sympathetic, but unfortunately there was nothing he could do to speed the journey. If we had been informed of diversion delays, we could have got an earlier bus.

Very loud rattling bus. Loud irritating, repeating, annoying music between commentary. Commentary good but could only catch half of it due to the terrible bus.

This hop on hop off bus tour provides a very good introduction to the Cambridge area. If you have a few days in Cambridge and have never been before It is well worth considering doing this tour early on during your visit. The commentary provided is very interesting, and it is definitely worth staying on the bus for the whole route (which takes around 90 minutes).

Bus service not running and could not get a refund despite emailing a full explanation. How unfair can this be. I now have to contact PayPal for help in obtaining my money back. Also tele no. on booking confirmation is unobtainable

We booked for New Year’s Day in Cambridge. You took our money but the bus didn’t run. We waited in the rain at the redemption stop no 1 for 35 mins. Sign says they run every 20 mins. We saw no buses. A full refund would be appreciated

The bus trip itself was great - very informative and we saw a lot of the city.
Unfortunately, the organisation was terrible. We waited at the Silver Street stop for ages in the rain but the bus never came. There was nothing at the bus stop or on Viator or the bus company's site to warn you about this. Eventually we went to another stop and caught the bus.
NB. despite what it says here, the friendly driver confirmed that you can always get on at *any* of the stops anyway, not just Silver Street.

So disappointed. My hub and and I - both seniors/ first time in Cambridge. Had fully paid tickets on iPhone but no WiFi service so couldn’t access. Driver not only unsympathetic, but unhelpful in every way. We repaid to take trip. Cambridge is small but it’s still terrific to see from bus on first day (after traveling from USA). Just a shame this driver soured our first glimpse of this nice town.

This was a typical open top get on get off bus...starting point the railway station. Once you leave the station there are a couple dozen stops where you can get off and do a little exploring then get back on it you've seen them all. I was disappointed as a recording tells you what you're seeing pretty much as you speed on by. I had hoped to go into the Cambridge University "village" and explore a bit but we went nowhere near any campus facilities. If I had to do it again, I'd wait til I got there then book a university guide for a much better experience.

We did the full circuit to start with so that we could decide where we would like to get off and explore further. The commentary was very informative and all the drivers were courteous and very skilled at their job. We were amazed how easily they got the double decker bus down some of Cambridge’s very narrow streets, all the time avoiding the many cyclists. We have done the hop on hop off tours in several cities and find it a good way to get our bearings and see which places we will find of interest.

Very happy with this experience. I had only half day by the time I reached, but one and half tour with the bus was pretty pleasant due to the beauty around the city. The tour made it very convenient to move around in Cambridge.

I went through the whole city and it was fun. Did it twice and although it was quite cold I could smell the linden trees from the top of the bus, which was very pleasant. Drivers were very friendly and pointed out toilets and even waited for me.

A wonderful bus trip around Cambridge with our experienced driver. The provided recorded cometary while travelling along some of the narrow streets highlighting the 31# colleges that constitutes the university of Cambridge was so very informative. Sitting on the top deck of the bus allowed us to view the full splendour of the sights we passed.
