A must do in Cambridge
Excellent experience!
I had done the tour once before, two years ago with my husband, and I did it again yesterday with my mum. It’s amazing! Sonya is so knowledgeable, she will distill a portion of her encyclopaedian knowledge to you but if you decide to ask some questions, you will understand the depth of her mastery!
You only need to walk for a couple of minutes at a time between buildings and yet you will see so much of the city and its colleges!
I cannot recommend this tour enough!

A perfect tour
Our tour with Tanya was the perfect way to start our time in Cambridge. Despite the cold and rain spirits were kept high and so many interesting places visited and stories told. The visit to the Eagle pub at the end was the cherry on the cake. Thank you, Tanya.

ook a punting tour in...
ook a punting tour in Cambridge and loved it! Drifting along the River Cam was super relaxing, with gorgeous views of the colleges and bridges. The guide shared fun stories that made the ride even better. Best part? Seeing King’s College Chapel from the water—it’s stunning. A perfect mix of history, scenery, and chill vibes. Definitely a must‑do when in Cambridge!

One of the highlights of our Cambridge visit
Such a great walking tour of Cambridge. We learned loads and saw parts of the city we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own.
Our guide, Niamh, was lovely, really knowledgeable, easy to listen to, and shared interesting stories from her own experience as a postgraduate at Cambridge. It never felt scripted or rushed, and the whole tour was really enjoyable.
Would 100% recommend if you’re visiting Cambridge.

So glad we booked this!
We booked just the day before and Jo couldn't have been more amazing. The timing for us was perfect and she checked in advance if there were any special places we'd like to see, if it was our first visit to Cambridge, etc. The tour was excellent. Jo was brilliantly well informed and had endless stories and knowledge to share, but always a brilliant job noticing our interests. We loved the illustrations she shared, the insights into the city and university colleges and even gave us recommendations before our tour and for the next day. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We'll do another tour on our next visit and we've already told friends and family. Thank you Jo!

Excellent, 5 out of 5 stars
We had an incredible experience on our walking tour. The guide was friendly, funny, and had tons of information and fun facts to share. The time went by very quickly! I wish I could remember his name to mention it in the review, all I know is that he used to go to Oxford and now attends Cambridge! Anyway if you can request a guide who used to attend Oxford, do so!

Delightful walking tour!
We had a wonderful private walking tour of Cambridge with Sibylle. As an alumni of the college, she shared the school's history along with interesting and fun anecdotes of her time there. She was very knowledgable, and also warm and charming. We highly recommend this tour!

An insightful Cambridge tour
The tour is very well conducted. Martin guide from Round Church , spoke very clearly and passionately about the people and the impact and influence the scholars have in their time and the society at large. I understand the belief , the history culture and politics of the country better . The Christian belief have been relevantly lived out by what the Cambridge scholars .

Lovely little tour with a fun, knowledgeable guide.
My 10 yo son and I really enjoyed this tour. We walked around and saw many things that you wouldn’t see otherwise. Out tour guide Peter told us a lot of ghost stories and trivia about the town, he showed us details that you wouldn’t notice just walking around. I would really recommend this tour to families with young children. Peter was friendly and engaging and asked Jack a lot of questions about history and literature, and my son was really proud to be able to answer many of them!

John the great Punter
John was a masterful punter who shared his love for Cambridge through stories and insights that were meaningful and interesting. He personally knew of events and people that added a depth to his stories and he was helpful to others struggling to command their punts. His humor was appreciated and he had us enthralled the entire time.
