I’m so glad we stumbled across this experience. Pick up/drop off was easy. The guides were great and had a lot of knowledge about the area. The views are amazing. The 1st hike is steep and rocky, but doable. 2nd stop was super nice and peaceful. 3rd stop was our favorite. There were bathrooms at each stop which was nice since it was very outdoorsy. We got to see wildlife as well as sea life.

Lovely day enjoying different parts of Byron Bay. This was a lovely day and there was only 6 of us it which was lovely. We got to see some lovely places and really enjoyed it.

Amazing tour, Toby was awesome. The drive from Byron is super easy, and the waterfall is great. Afterward, there’s a lunch stop by the lake where you can go paddle boarding. The stop at the Three Sisters has a picturesque beach. Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic trip! Had 3 stops, first we went to a beautiful waterfall for a swim, then on to a ti-tree lake where we had lunch and a swim. Paddle boards were available to use for free in the lake. We finished with a scenic walk above another beautiful beach. All in all a great way to spend 5 hours, and the music in the bus was great.

The guide is super friendly and personable, his personality definitely makes the tour! Saw some pretty sights, the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the tour was booked up with really young tour groups (I’m 25) and there were no other solo travellers on the tour to vibe with! Still a nice day, just make sure to bring shoes you’re willing to sacrifice and bring lots of water!

Hi liv!
Am glad you enjoyed the tour! Whilst we usually have an abundance of solo travellers on the tour we also cannot control this and allow all ages and groups to join!
All the best

Tom was fantastic from start to finish. He has great music taste which entertained whilst driving and was very informative too! He answered any questions and provided lots of information.
The trip itself was great - you see some beautiful sights and get to have fun paddle boarding!

The experience was cancelled due to the weather and flooded roads to the waterfalls. A full refund was issued.

Our tour guide Luc was awesome. So friendly and personable and genuine. And he really knew his stuff. He was a legit Aussie surfer dude who showed us all of the hidden spots around Byron Bay and made us feel like locals. His colorful stories about growing up in the area gave us a real taste and flavor for the area. He was totally chill and unhurried and we all had ample time to get to explore and enjoy each venue. It was a fabulous day of outdoor activities all thanks to Luc. Another great example of Viator partnering with the most knowledgeable and experienced local guides.

Absolutely incredible experience! The waterfall and beaches tour by behind the bay was beyond amazing. The scenery was breathtaking, with the stunning waterfalls, lake and pristine hidden beaches. Harry was very knowledgeable on the area and surrounds, friendly, and made the whole day seamless, taking us to hidden gems and ensuring we had plenty of time to soak it all in. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking for a day to escape, this tour is a must-do. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure or anyone looking to further explore the incredible sites Byron has to offer!

Absolutely fantastic day trip. We were a small group of 6 so got the proper in person treatment. Our guide Mark was a top guy who clearly loved Byron Bay and the surrounding areas. We were shown some wonderful places and were treated to the perspective of a local.

It was great to explore such beautiful locations in a relaxed atmosphere. Harry was a great tour guide with excellent music taste. It was nice being in a smaller group so you had the opportunity to talk to everyone. We also spotted some dolphins on our trip as a bonus.

We absolutely loved it! Harry was so nice, he showed us to all the good and hidden gems. The tea tree lake was also really nice ! And we saw some great look out points!

The lake was the first stop very relaxing then off to the falls I couldn’t walk all the way down but loved the view area and the atmosphere! Our tour guide Mark was soo great making sure we were safe and happy

A perfect trip - each stop was completely unique and the day was really well paced.
Our tour guide Georgia was super friendly and obviously had a genuine passion for Byron.
There is no way I would have found these places without the day-trip and I learned a lot too!

Great trip with everything as described. Plenty of time at each location and opportunities to go for a swim. Harry was a great host and picked/dropped us off at our accommodation. Thanks for a great day. Would recommend to others if you want to see outside of Byron Bay.
A few things to be aware of, access to Killen Falls is over a rocky path that you have to climb over so if you have mobility issues this is not the trip for you. Also, beware wearing rings if swimming in Killen Falls as water is so soft that hubbies wedding ring came off and lost 😔
Tina_B, Feb 2024
The tour was the highlight of my trip, Harry was great and very informative.
The te tree lake was my favourite. I highly recommend this tour
Antonia_T, Jan 2024
Tour was incredible, we had so much fun. Harry was a great guide, lovely guy and took us to see such beautiful places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Nothing was rushed- made sure we all had a good time. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!
Trent_S, Jan 2024
The best day seeing places that you wouldn’t know about yourself. The pace was perfect and would 100% recommend anyone wanting to see more of Byron bay during their stay.
Olivia_D, Dec 2023
We enjoyed the day however we thought it was overpriced for what it was. It was quite misleading about the paddleboarding, we thought it would be 1 board each however it was 1 for the whole group to share.
The tour guide was friendly and helpful.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hi Olivia,
Thanks for your feedback, however it is strange because I have been operating for 4 years now and no one has ever thought they would get a board each before..
Pumping up a stand up board takes at least 15 minutes. So if we had one for all 11 of you on this particular day that would be around 3 hours spent just on pumping each of the boards up!
As for the cost, please understand that as operators, we have a variety of costs associated. For example, the discounted $100 that you paid for the tour, 30% of this is taken by the booking platform you used to make the booking. On top of this, we have to pay for fuel, pay the guide, pay national park fees ($5 per head), not too mention all the liability insurances associated with running a tour business. After all of that we pay 25% tax.
Don't get me wrong, we all love a bargain, but as the cost of living increases, we as tour operators need to make a living also :)
Thanks for your feedback and hopefully that sheds some light on it for you.
All the best
Harry

It was lovely to explore killen falls, ainsworth lake, and the broken head nature reserve. Such beautiful natural locations and really nice to travel in a small group so there was opportunity to get to know people and chat to them.
The tour was very laid back, this was a shame in some ways as it meant we didn’t receive a huge amount of knowledge and guidance about the area but in others ways it was good not to feel rushed or restricted like you can on some other tours.
All in all a great day
