After learning to steer your tandem kayak, set out from Clarkes Beach and enjoy waterside views of landmarks like the Byron Bay lighthouse, the Julian Rocks, Wategos millionaire row and Cape Byron. Keep a look out for dolphins, sea turtles and whales as you cruise around the bay, then cool off with a swim before heading back to shore.

Please meet us at our head office, Opposite 56 Lawson Street, Byron Bay at least 20 minutes before your tour start time. Please note that we operate on Daylight Savings hours from October to April each year. We are 1hr ahead of QLD during this period. Please read our full terms & conditions.

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Children 5 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult
- Women more then 15 weeks pregnant should consider the safety risks of undertaking such a tour
- Minimum age 5 years old
- Roadside parking available (paid), Free 4 hour parking is available nearby on Massinger St
- Remember: we run on NSW Daylight Savings time between Oct and April each year
- Please let our staff know of any medical conditions at check in, you do this confidentially by completing our waiver form at check in
- Not recommended for people with phobias, poor physical fitness or chronic lower back injuries
- Mother Nature dictates the day - everyday is different on the Bay, we will do our best to find all sorts of wildlife for you.
- Should conditions be dangerous: We conduct risk assessments of conditions several times per day. If the ocean is too dangerous from things like string winds, stingers or large surf we will contact you to cancel. In this case you are entitled to a full refund, don't worry we don't take your money. Sometimes you are just better off not going then being out there in unnecessary danger
- We do run the tours in the rain, you get wet anyway whether it's sunny or raining.
- In winter we have wetsuits for you to put on before the tour to keep you warm
- We use Tandem ( 2 person) Sit on Top Kayaks
- No refunds or free swaps are available for those arriving late. In Summer we run on NSW Daylight Savings time, QLD does not run on this time
- Not Recommended for people who suffer from phobias of water
- Not recommended for people who suffer from motion sickness
- Not recommended for people suffering the effects of alcohol abuse
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 32 travelers

It’s an out and back be ready to. Arty your boats and stink a little after using the equipment like it’s been wet and not completely dry.

Sunrise tour was incredible - we had a small group, spotted dolphins, and the views were unreal. Watching the sun rising up with the lighthouse towering the cliffs was absolutely spectacular. Highly recommend. Luke was fantastic!

Unfortunately we were some of the unlucky few who didn't spot any dolphins. However the company policy for a complimentary alternative booking was confirmed when we returned to shore. Despite the lack of wildlife, the team were really friendly, knowledgeable and I felt safe at all times. I attended solo and shared a kayak with one of the team members who shared a lot of his local knowledge.

This was a really fun activity. The guides (especially Peter) were fun, safe and knowledgeable. Although I consider myself relatively fit, I think this activity would be suitable for most levels of fitness.

We booked this as per description...dolphin watching kayak tour. What we did not expect, was seeing whales...so many whales, and so close. This was unexpected, and turn out to be the most remarkable experience we have done with my wife. Incredible.

I had an amazing time. Our group were incredibly lucky and saw lots of dolphins on the trip without having to paddle too far out. The team were very insightful and provided lots of information about the wildlife. The kayaking was fun too.

This was one of the most memorable activities I’ve undertaken. We kayaked near to the lighthouse where we came close to two whales - truly an amazing experience. We had excellent guides who were patient and knowledgeable.

Great understanding of ocean tides and marine life in the Byron Bay area, and also had some good facts of the surrounding areas. Would have loved to have been in a smaller group as 27 people were just too many to allow for great experience. In saying that, the team were friendly and helpful.

Super morning out. Loved the professionalism and guidance of the warm and friendly instructors. Took us out the back of the surf and we were fortunate enough to see 2 large pods of dolphins. They jumped out of the water as well. Sensational! These guys are great and and very easy going but you also feel very secure and safe.

I was lucky enough to get a tour with just one other tourist and the tour guide. We saw a couple of dolphins, heard whales and maybe also a shark. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us fun stories about the area and gave us insigthful information about the marine life.
