From absolute beginners to anyone looking for a refresher course, these lessons include safety information about the beach and important surf and safety rules covering all the basics from the warm-up, to paddling, catching waves and standing. In our small group surf sessions (maximum 7 surfers per Instructor), we offer tailored guidance to enhance your surfing skills, boost confidence, and deepen your understanding of the sport. The Ballina & Byron Bay coast plays host to hundreds of bottle nose dolphins all year round. Take a short and scenic 30 minute drive south of Byron Bay to Ballina (transfer not included), where you will board our vessel. We choose the best locations for the day depending on wind, tides and swells. We will coach up to an advanced level and are licensed to use hardboards.
