Depart your hotel in central Buenos Aires by comfortable minivan. Gaze out the window at the Argentinian pampas during your journey and listen to your guide's introduction to the sport of polo.
Arrive at the country club to a snack of wine and empanadas accompanied by a talk about Argentina's passion for polo. Learn about some of the top players and the breeding program that ensures the exceptional polo horses' blood lineages are passed on.
Watch a live polo match that takes place over four fast-passed chukkas, or quarters, and involves 30 horses thundering up and down the field. Look to your guide for explanations of the rules, techniques and strategies on the field.
Enjoy a traditional Argentinian asado (barbecue) for lunch, including grilled meats and local wine. Choose a vegetarian or fish dish if you prefer. Walk the grounds or take a dip in the country club's pool after lunch.
Then saddle up for your polo lesson, which begins with a safety briefing and introduction from your expert teacher. Get your leg up on a horse that's suitable for your skill level and practice holding the polo mallet, or taco, before engaging in a mini-match with your fellow classmates.

Expensive, but a brilliant day! You get a lot of freedom to ride really well trained horses, and play a real game of polo with 2 teams of approx 4 each side. They also give you plenty of wine and a massive bbq lunch.

Action-packed day: we watched a polo match, had a tasty asado, and then palyed polo ourselves. We even had a chance to jump in the pool, but chose to come back to Buenos Aires. Wonderful. Only thing that wasn't clear beforehand is that the polo club is about 80-90 minutes from Buenos Aires. The map attached to the booking showed the polo field in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, but the actual field was past Pilar.

Fun introduction to polo with lovely horses and nice people. The BBQ was delicious! Good to have an ability to ride a horse to make it more enjoyable but they did a good job matching up horses and people.

Tommy was an excellent guide on this adventure and what an adventure it was! The grounds were beautiful, food and drink were fantastic, the match was exciting and the personal training for polo was great! Tommy truly took the time to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed even if you had never been on a horse.
My only suggestion is to make sure they send a car big enough to accommodate your group. We were quite "tight" in the little car the sent for all of us.

My mum and I had the best time on this day trip! We spent the morning learning about polo and practising on the ground, and even got to try a mutcha! We then had a fantastic BBQ lunch in a beautiful old building with a quick tour of the museum. And got to finish the afternoon off riding the horse and playing Polo. We had a group of about 16 people with different experience levels, and it was well run for everyone to go at their own pace. Some people chose just to ride horses and others choice to ride and play. We did not play an actual games as it is very fast paced, however we were able to ride around and hit the balls with our mallets.
Tomy was our host and he made the day so much fun! And I was super impressed with the quality and temperament of horses! Our horses were very capable and responsive!

This is a fabulous way to spend the day, great location lovely staff & experiencing the world of polo second to none. I went on the day to celebrate my birthday & they made me feel very special including a surprise birthday cake! I was a little disappointed by the BBQ but it didn't spoil the day at all. Thoroughly recommend this day a real treat.

Truly the best experience we had in BA. The food was very good. The polo players ate with us and then we were able to play polo at our own speed although some of the horses weren't as enthused. Only drawback was the ride out was a little crowded. Overall we would do it again and again.

This was the highlight of our trip!! It was my boyfriend's first time in Argentina and I wanted to make sure he experienced the local culture -- not just touristy things –- and Argentina Polo Day did not disappoint.
Our host for the day, Ezequiel, went out of his way from the moment we arrived to ensure we had a great time, making sure everyone in our group of about 10 people felt comfortable at all times. The table was set beautifully when we arrived for breakfast and there were beverages available throughout the day to make sure we were hydrated.
The polo match was a total blast to watch and felt like a private scrimmage, the players were friendly and would come up to us and chat, answer our questions. The owner Rubén played in the match himself, introduced himself right away and was extremely hospitable throughout the day.
Getting on the horses was a blast and the whole team made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the ride. We learned so much about the sport and getting to try our own hand at it was a truly unforgettable experience. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, high-value Argentine experience and introduction to the incredible sport of polo.
And finally -- the asado. We were served at least 5 different cuts of meat, with delicious sides, all cooked to perfection, while chatting with other guests, the polo players and Rubén himself. It was such a lovely, local, warm experience. I will definitely be back with other guests in future trips! A big thanks to the whole team for your incredible hospitality -- it makes all the difference.

Amazing day! We were picked up in a van with a few other people and drove an hour to the Estancia. We had two guides (Tommy & Alexei) who were so helpful and fun. We leaned a lot about BA, Argentina and most importantly, polo! We watched a match and took some amazing photos. Then we had parilla (bbq) as well as great vegetables, etc. Lunch was plentiful and delicious and I loved the house where we had lunch. So charming and cozy. Cool museum on second floor. Then we had a lesson and played polo! It was so fun and just what I had hoped for - and some of us had no experience and it was safe and everyone could go at their own pace. They had a small store and I bought a some shirts and they had other souvenirs, too. So many great photos and some mate before we left. Oh and fabulous wine, too!
It was an amazingly memorable experience and I enjoyed it so much.

This was an absolutely amazing event! The premises are beautiful, we learned all about Polo, watched a match, met the polo players & then actually played polo ourselves!! The BBQ was beyond our expectations - beautifully presented & delicious. Our host Augustin was wonderful- very knowledgeable& all the staff were very gracious. This was far better than just going to see a polo match! We had a great day & we highly recommend the tour! kudos to Ruben & Augustin for giving us an experience we will never forget!!!

Fantastic day! The whole experience was extremely well organized; the polo campo is beautiful - manicured and clean. Exhilarating watching the processional polo players play. If you have never seen a polo match, that alone is worth the trip. Lunch was beautifully presented and plentiful. Lots of time riding the well trained and gentle horses, no previous riding experience necessary. Seriously! We were not at all rushed at any point in the day and could enjoy riding until we were all tired out. Relaxed with wine after the riding and shared some good laughs. It is a full day, best not to make any other plans for the same day. Highly, highly recommend this adventure. We look forward to returning with our children in the future.

Incredible experience! Our guide Augustin Was kind and knowledgeable. He made every part of the day feel like we were friends visiting. The Asado was beautifully set and delicious. Then there was the polo…. It’s was an equestrian dream come true. The polo players were fantastic and jovial. Then when we played polo on the same ponies it was the experience of a lifetime. It was like being transported to a different world, full horses, history, friendship and wine. 10 out of 10.

My family and I had a day at the campo and I have to say, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! To watching a Polo match, to watch and eat the barbecue of a variety of lomo (meats) So delicious 😋
The staff were so friendly and made our day at the campo enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend for friends or families with teens.

We are a well-traveled family and have collected many unique experiences. This ranks at the top. Our experience was personalized because our guide stayed with us the whole time and was available for any questions or needs. The polo trainers were enthusiastic and worked hard to give us a true polo experience despite our lack of ability, lol. The setting was gorgeous and peaceful. You will be stunned at the quality of the food. The team even went out of their way for a last-minute celebration for my daughter's birthday. The experience is worth every penny. Good people, and good times.

We had an absolutely fantastic day at the Argentinian Polo Day Club, which is just outside Buenos Aires - the scenery was spectacular and everyone there were so kind to us and welcomed us. We were greeted with a glass of Malbec and delicious homemade empanadas and had some time to walk around and see the place. We then went to meet the horses and learn the basic rules of Polo, followed by watching the club members play a match while our host explained the game. The was followed by a beautiful meal with all the meat and vegetables you could dream of, a true Argentinian asado. After lunch it was our time to play, and all levels will be suited to do this. My partner and I had barely ever sat on a horse before this, but the horses here are so gentle and well trained so they suit all levels. We were riding around in our own phase getting used to the horse and the mallet before we started the game, and it was all an amazing experience. This was a truly memorable experience and I cannot recommend it enough. We are already planning a trip back here next time we go to Buenos Aires, next time we would like to stay on the ranch for a few days and really learn how to play polo and enjoy the incredible surroundings.

This event was absolutely incredible. Easy pick up from Palermo and the hostess was wonderful. Grounds are beautiful and the day was nonstop entertainment. Learned so much about the sport and can’t believe we got to play. INCREDIBLE food and delicious wine all day. An absolute must!

It was a great way to spend a day in Argentina. Not that I'll ever play polo but it was interesting to learn about the rules, see a game and get a chance to practice on horseback. The thing that will appeal to everyone is the great food and the company! They really made an effort to make you feel at home.

Transfer from a local location to the Argentine country side, on arrival we get told the history and rules of polo along with wine. We see a game, have an amazing bbq, more wine, get on the horses to play polo, then at the end relax in the lovely pool. Really recommend this excursion.

Highly disorganised pickup, plus difficult to contact in days before to confirm! Still in BA at 12. Did not enquire re any ones riding ability assume no one can ride, felt a bit like some trail ride horses that are unwilling to do anything till time to head home. Lot of sitting around eating and drinking...food good but not what I went for.would not recommend
