Tango amazing, but book direct with the venue and take a taxi if you are staying in San Telmo

Tango dancing was stunning! Meal and venue were also great. A unique experience. However if staying San Telmo I would suggest booking direct with the venue and taking a taxi there and back. We were scheduled for a pick up and tour around San Telmo at 7pm, but the bus did not come until after 7:30pm and went direct to the venue. Despite only staying about 5 mins ride from the venue, our return journey took us all over the city and took 40 mins to drop us last back at our hotel.

Wow! This was awesome to see. The tango show was great and the dinner was also amazing. If you want to see a great tango show and enjoy an excellent dinner Michelangelo’s is definitely the place to go while in Argentina!

I booked one show, they said that show doesn't go on the day I booked it, so not sure why it was advertised for that day. They put me in a different show, said the bus was going to pick me up at 8:30, no bus until 910. Very difficult to get in touch with somebody from the Tour company, had to have my hotel call the emergency line to get any details. Completely disorganized and the show is average at best would not recommend.

This was a delightful experience from start to finish. We were greeted and attended to immediately upon entering. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the ambiance was perfect. Great setting for a celebration or special occasion. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and kept our glasses filled with our wines of choice and water for the duration of the meal. The aforementioned was one of the highlights of the evening. Every dish eaten by our party—appetizer, entree, and dessert—was beautifully presented and delectable. The bife de chorizo was exceptional—highly recommend! The show was equally wonderful. The VIP seats are long comfy sofas in the front row and afford a great view of the stage and dancers (and in particular their feet—you can truly appreciate the intricate footwork from that vantage point!). The live musicians were fantastic as were the folk performers. Can’t recommend highly enough if you’re looking for an intimate Tango and dinner experience in Buenos Aires!
