Terrific tour guide. English skills excellent. Guacho ranch beautiful, horse riding about 20 minutes and well organized. Lunch on veranda lovely. Show very interesting . Mosiquitoes are a problem. Treat clothes and skin before going. Very hot so dress accordingly. Highly recommend.

Susanna was a very attentive caring guide. Amazed at the amomt of meat they served.
Food was very good. Service great!
Thoroughly enjoyed the gaucho show Very skilled individuals.

Staff was nice, spoke good English and was helpful. However, the whole event was way to long and the horse show way to short. 30 minutes out of 5 hours! For me a bit of waste of time in hindsight. I also didn’t like that the gauchos were not really dressed up. Would have made a difference in the photos.

A day full of entertainment! For city folk like we are, going to a farm is always fun. Horse-riding, carriage riding, zip lining, activities galore. But the lunch with grilled meat and plenty of Malbec plus great live entertainment (music, tango, folklore dances, etc) was the highlight of the tour.

The lunch show was nice but other than that there really wasn't anything to do during the 6 hours we were there. They had a nose to tail horseback ride that was 15 minutes long that you had to wait in line 2 hours to go on. There were a lot of people just standing around looking for something to do. And the mosquitos were everywhere. The little suckers were going through my jeans!

LOTS of pick ups. This doubled our journey there and back!!
Ridiculously short ride on a horse like 20 mins max. No health and safety or instruction. I had an unruly horses :-(
Our servers were not attentive we had nothing on our table for a very long time (not even cutlery) whilst the rest of our travel group had starters and drinks. We advised we didnt eat meat (which looked very good if you eat meat) but the veggie food was pretty poor and we felt like second rate citizens for the whole meal. Entertainment saved the day. We gave what we thought was a tip for the dancers and singer only to find we were asked to layer contribute again. We 100% would not have tipped the service / food
We’re told the there would be an English guide but had minimal / no translation
Utter waste of a day and money etc.

Hi Ann, thank you for extending your previous review. We regret to hear that your experience was not as you expected. This is a shared tour and we pick up travelers at different hotels. Sometimes, they are a few and sometimes more hotels. We advise this tolerance at confirmations we send and it is also stated in our product so we make our best effort to make it shorter. This tour is more for meat eaters and the main food is the argentinean barbecue that is part of our culture. Anyway, we respect veggies and there are some salads but the main food is meat which is the gaucho food and typical for a gaucho day. Horses are for people who can ride, for the other ones, they are suggested a ride on carriages. Tips are not included in any service in Argentina. It is also part of our culture to leave a tip and it is stated in our product in What's excluded. The rest of the services at the ranch are usually very good so we kindly ask you to inform the date and name in the booking to check the other issues you mention to help us improve our services.

Had a good time. There were plenty of well-organized events. I thought it was a little pricey for no pick up. I had to take a taxi to another hotel for the pick-up. Food and staff were superb.

One of the big attractions around Bueno Aires allows you to spend a day at an estancia or ranch. I went to Don Silvano about an hour or so outside of the city. The day starts with an empanada and a drink before you have the option of a horseback ride or carriage ride.
The day really gets going from around noon with a lesson on the Argentine asado and the traditions surrounding the renowned cooking techniques. This is followed by a tour of the facilities including a history of the family and a stop at a traditional gaucho homestead. What follows is a huge feast of a variety of meats, fries, and salads and a raucous show of Argentinian music and interaction between the singer and dancers and the guest. The day is wrapped with a series of demonstrations by the in-house gauchos.
This is a very well-organised day out and gets you away from the hustle and bustle of Bueno Aires.

Very nice day! Good show, signer, dancers, staff is very nice. Food is so so, meat is not alway tender, but generous portions along with wine and other drinks.

My wife really wanted to go horseback riding in Argentina and her we encountered so much more. First provided transportation was in a 18 passenger. There was good communication telling us what time to expect them.
Ride from downtown Buenos Aires to the ranch is about an hour and 15 – hour and 30 minutes depending on the on traffic.
Once there you were met with a meat filled local snack, which was very good, and your choice of soft drinks or wine.
The rest of the morning was spent roaming around the ranch, going horseback riding, horse drawn carriage riding, there was a bit of a wait, 30 minutes to enjoy those experiences. They also had a suspended bridge climb and zip line to try. Finally, there was many animals and birds to visit and explore.
Lunch started at 1 PM and consisted of salad, french fries, and five different types of meat plus dessert. Bring a big appetite. Beer, wine and soft drinks were also served with the meal and unlimited quantities. The food was good and I felt they did an excellent job serving almost 300 people in attendance.
Our seats were right in front of the stage, and the entertainment was lively with various types of tango, dances and music from different parts of Argentina plus around the world. The musicians and dancers were very energetic. Certainly helps if you understand Spanish as most of the speech by the singers and dancers is in Spanish.
After dessert, we filed out of the dining hall and worked our way over to the gaucho experience. They were they had horse races, gaucho roping demonstrations, and finally a horse whisperer performing some amazing acts with his horse.
The afternoon concluded with one more dessert and local tea type drink. Then we were back on the bus and headed back into the city. Drop off was conveniently located near our hotel.
Overall, the experience was excellent and gives you a realistic taste of what ranch life is like in Argentina. Definitely a good value of both your time and money.
Locals as well as people from all over the world were in attendance. On our bus, we had a woman from Kakistain, couples and families from Columbia, England, the United States and Perú.

It would have been nicer to either have more free time or simply more time to enjoy all the various activities. As it was, we had a horseback ride, ropes course (with zipline), a marvelous Argentine dinner, and a gaucho horsemanship skills demonstration. That's a lot to cram in.
A special note goes out to our guide, Erica. She had to sub in for another guide at the last minutes and was not as fluent in English as she wished, but she was a dear. She even transcribed some information (through Google Translate) on paper in flawless penmanship. Thank you Erica!

Great day trip from Buenos Aires. The Estancia is quite large and very well maintained. The lunch we had was enormous and the food was excellent! There is a music show with dancers while having lunch and they were also really great!
For me the highlight was watching horse race and performance of gauchos. It was really hot day, but there is plenty of shade everywhere.
It's typically touristic thing, but it's nice to see how people used to live.
