This is a wonderful tour. I will say you walk for 5 hrs, but we got to see all of Buenos Aires. Our tour guide was terrific. She showed us things we would have never seen on our own. Just a wonderful tour.

We covered lots of areas in one day but didn’t feel rushed and our guide Victor was very informative.
Robert_D, Mar 2024
This is a very comprehensive tour that covers a lot of ground by using public transportation (buses). Bonus if you schedule this for Sunday is you can walk through the San Telmo street market on your way to the starting point.
Nilakshi_L, Feb 2024
A lot of history and information was shared by Denise in our tour. It was easy and fun. Walking is a great way to discover hidden alleyways and gems in the city
Thomas_R, Feb 2024

Nice tour guide, but we were mixed with other couple with another language. Needed to know more information and history about places. Overpriced..
Response from Host, Mar 2024

The tour was great
Lunch restaurant did not cater for vegans
We had to pay for poor food substitute
Which were a poor substitute for lunch

Victor was prepared with old photos, magazines and related articles to explain the history of many of the walking tours sites. I really enjoyed this tour, and I felt like I saw many important sites of Buenos Aires as well as have a better appreciation of the local culture and history that built it. Yes, you will take a local bus and a subway, but if you want to experience a tour that immerses you like a local, this is the one! Great job, Victor!

Long walking tour (5 hours) occasional hop on a City bus. Tour guide talked at us but the lecture was boring. Too much of standing around to hear the tour guide talking.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We take your comment so we can improve our walking tour in the future, maybe with less walking and more dynamic explanations from our guides.
Best regards

our tour was scheduled on a day the tour office was closed, so no one was there- but our guide came and was wonderful. Gabi was very knowledgable, friendly and engaging. Five hours may seem like a long tour, but the pace was perfect and it actually flew by because it was so interesting and entertaining. Highly recommend- also we used public transportation (bus and subway) and went to local restaurants so it is a great way to orient yourself to the city a bit.
Martin_C, Apr 2023

Knowledge guide with great English language skills. Hit most of the high points of the city in one day. Covered a lot of ground on foot and via local buses Got a feel for Buenos Aires as a local might experience it
Kevin_R, Jan 2023
We covered a lot of ground. Gabi was very personable and knowledgeable. We especially appreciated his passion for Argentina.

ADAMARIA_O, Apr 2022
I enjoyed the walking tour. I have come many times to Buenos Aires but only after this tour I feel I know better the city. Carlos the guide is knowledgeable, kind and professional. I recommend this tour
Maggie_M, Jan 2022
Victor was great! Very knowledgeable about the city and we went to many different barrios. Would recommend!
Antonio_G, Mar 2020
Overall the tour was very good and Carlos was very knowledgeable about the history of the various sites. The only thing that could have made it “perfect” would be to have a little block of free time to wander around a couple of places to look for trinkets and souvenirs (like in the La Boca area). This is a great way to see many parts of the city all within several hours as well as get the local experience of riding on the local buses and metro system. We enjoyed the tour but there quite a bit of walking involved.
Response from Host, Sep 2020

ANTHONY_N, Dec 2019
Rosita the tour guide was great and I gave her a large tip. The actual tour was lacking in a few areas . we only visited one courtyard in San Telmo as we walked thru it. Caminito street was a nice stop . I don't remember seeing much in the Puerto madero stop. Plaza deMayo stop was very good and Our guide showed us a lot there. Oblelisco & Avenida part was a quick walk thru. Our guide did a nice job showing us around the Recoleta Cemetary. Would have been nice to get a map that showed where we were walking. During the tour we took 3 different buses to the various districts so it wasn't all walking.
Anne_R, Nov 2019
Carlos, the tourguide, is very knowledgeable and that makes the tour very informative. I had many historical questions and he answered them all.
Karen_B, Feb 2019
Too much time was spent on the bus in traffic. A better plan would be fewer areas but more walking and more Intensive descriptions of the surroundings. The guide was sweet and well versed in certain areas but didn’t give a lot of general information as we passed places. I didn’t feel I got a good sense of the city.
Response from Host, Sep 2020
Thank you for taking the time to let a review. In order to explore different areas of Buenos Aires it is necessary to take public transport as the city is very huge. Besides, one of the attractions for us is the public transport, the way to know also the daily life of the "porteños". On the other hand, our tour guides are examined on their knowledge. However, we take this feedback and forward it to the guide as an opportunity to improve our services. We really appreciate your comments. Best regards.

A small group of English people were treated to very personal service and a great day out. Our guide spoke brilliant English, was knowledgeable, very likeable and really put a lot into our day. We hopped buses and walked around the city effortlessly and really got more from the guide than just the tourist facts - she really engaged with us and could not do enough for us.. you have to like walking to enjoy this tour.
DeborahL_H, Dec 2018
The tour gave a big bang for the buck. It covered quite a bit of the city since it included travel by bus and subway to get to the different neighborhoods. Our guide, Carlos, was excellent. The tour was a great way to begin our visit to Buenos Aires.
Robert G, Feb 2018
A very nice walking tour of Buenos Aires. Bonus: one gets to familiarize themselves with the city bus and subway system.
