Not very impressed

I felt rushed from start to finish with the only exception when we were taken to certain locations to be shown items and then asked if we wanted to purchase them from the shop. Actual location of history and importance in Buenos Aires we were give from 5/20 minutes to take photos. Best of all a guy jumped on the bus at the first location, takes everyone’s photo then get off again an hour late he appears again with everyone’s head super imposed onto a tango dancer that a 5 year old could of done better with and wanted $20 .really not impressed with this outfit there must be better operators out there who charge less for a high quality experience

Well informed tour guide with a good air conditioned bus. We stopped at many of the good sites in Buenos Aires. He explained some of the historical background of the sites and different sections of Buenos Aires.

Great Intro Tour to Buenos Aires

Jiselle and our driver did a great job. The pickup at our hotel went very smoothly. The van was comfortable and cool, and they did a very good job introducing us to the city. Totally fluent in English and Spanish she pointed out all of the main areas and was happy to answer any specific questions that you had. We also did a couple of stops that were long enough to buy some delicious gelato and sit under the trees in a park, do some shopping, and even sample some delicious wines and buy some if we wished.

Tour said max 12, then max 14 then 18....didn't go to cemetery... Said English but was also in Portuguese, so not really any commentary. Started late.overall ok but not anything I would recommend to others.

The bus was small, comfortable, with working AC. We drove through the city stopping at various points of interest. Jonathan, the guide spoke good English and provided interesting but limited info. I would have rated this tour as a 5-star if I did not have an opportunity to go on 2 separate walking tours of Buenos Aires. The amount and quality of information, such as history, health care, education, life in general, politics, and various other insights, we recieved from the guides on those walking tours was much more comprehensive than provided on this Premium City tour. And the walking tours were much more affordable.

Disappointed in the Guide

Good orientation to BA. The tour was f8ne. The tour guide was disappointing. He spent a lot of time on his phone. He missed many opportunities to share what we were driving by. It's like he shared the minimum amount of information possible. When asked questions, he responded. But then didn't share further.

Nice tour

Our tour Guide, Lionel, was 5 Stars, great sense of humor, extremely knowledgeable. but it took almost an hour to pick up all the 12 other passengers. Not there fault at all (serious traffic) lots of driving around

A quick but good tour of Buenos Aires. Just be aware that you'll see the cemetery from the outside, but will not be able to tour it on the inside. The cemetery is worth seeing if you get a chance to go back.

disappointing tour

Being told if we wanted to see the woman bridge, we would not be taken back to our hotel! The guide was uninformative She spent most of her time speaking in Spanish, It was in no way a “private” or “premium” tour.

Average tour of the City

We were picked up 45min late from the arranged time. When we made our first stop,(Recoleta) it wasn't very clear what we were doing. Our guide was trying, but her English was not very good , so was hard to understand. I felt like we're were just being driven around the city and not given much history, and culture infomation. The driver was great, got us around easily, especially in heavy traffic.

Terrible

None, the tour director was difficult to hear and understand in English. She unfortunately was the worst tour director my family has ever encountered in all our travels throughout the world. This is my first poor review. She was very unhelpful. We had family member with walker, she refused to allow walker on bus although there was empty seats it could have been placed in. Therefore walker stayed at hotel, and participants were unable to get off bus for tour. Driver did not leave air conditioning on for passengers who could not leave bus. This resulted in myself getting very sick, over heated, and requiring leaving tour, getting Uber and returning to hotel. I have booked Viator tours all over the world with walker and never had this issue. WALKERS DO NOT REQUIRE HANDICAP ASSESSIBLE TOUR! She kept referring to fact that she was not informed about wheelchair, it was not wheelchair but foldable walker, which has never been required to report nor have I ever seen place to report on Viator tours. I research these tours very carefully because sometimes another family member travels with us who does have electric wheelchair so I am very aware of tour requirements. She was unable to communicate or listen. This was our only opportunity to see Buenos Aires and unfortunately was a terrible experience.

We could have tried to provide a different vehicle but you never informed about a handicapped person in your group or a walker. Walkers may cause accidents so they must go in the trunk and vans do not have trunks because they are just for tours. We made our best effort according to the situation. We suggest you inform it next time to avoid any issues. All our guides are licensed and speak english well enough to communicate the information and interact with travelers. Disappointed

We were told that pick up would be 8.45am but we were not picked up until gone 9.20. Also hotel pick ups continued until 10am. I felt the information given was limited and we had two prolonged stops- one of 40 mins to visit a few shops and the cathedral, the other for 30 mins in La Boca. I felt these stops were too long and on one of them all the guests were ready and waiting for our guide to leave. I regretted doing the tour as I felt we had limited visibility in a small mini bus, limited commentary and it would have been better value in money and time to do the hop on hop off bus.

Brief overview of a very large metropolitan city

I was greeted on time with a smile outside the Sheraton Hotel. The Tour guide was bilingual- we had Spanish and English speaking guests on board, and he was efficient, although talked a bit fast for me to actually comprehend what I was seeing. I appreciated there were stops to actually get out, take decent photos without window glare and appreciate the city. It was miserably hot. The guide was focused on participant comfort and made sure to keep us shaded and even bought water.

The guide has inadequate linguistic skills in English and should not be running an English tour. We could not understand what she was saying and the mic on the first bus wasn't working so couldn't even hear anything. The whole group was getting frustrated more and more which made it completely unenjoyable. We were getting dropped off to souvenir shops and were told that we have a certain amount of time in each area. We had been given no history or information about where we were and when we would come back with questions, the guide had no idea what we were asking.

Not impressed

The tour was billed as being conducted in English, Spanish and Portuguese however the tour guide didn't speak English very well. I do speak Spanish but the rest of my group did not, the guide did a terrible job. For example, she gave a great description of one building in Spanish, then in English she said "here's an important building." I contacted the agency directly and they spoke to the guide but her English skills didn't improve. If you take the tour hope for a better guide if you don't speak Spanish.

Too late, to see all sights

Nice tour, but guide ran late and we missed 2 stops. Start time was delayed by almost 2 hours and places we were to visit were closing. Missed the tasting part of trip.

Quite disappointed that we didn’t go in the Recoleta cemetery. We were told we can only take picture outside the gate of the cemetery. There’s nothing to see outside the cemetery!!!
