It was a very nice and informative experience. The tour guide was fabulous and she made sure we were taken care of especially made sure we got back to the ship on time.

Kiki was very informative about the island . On time and got us back to cruise port in ample time. Very informative about the animals on the island donkeys and flamingos. The salt mines were interesting and the pink color on the he water. She took her time with questions and answers when not driving

I was not aware that my time was actually 1 hour behind the local time therefore when I showed up to check-in for the tour I was 45 minutes late instead of being fifteen minutes early. However since more tours were still running I was able to go on the next scheduled tour. The tour guide who was also the driver of our bus was very knowledgeable, receptive and informative.

we paid through Viator. we got to the pick up site and we're told we had to wait so they could fill more seats. 30 minutes past time we left. then we found out the other passengers paid way less than we did. tour was disappointing...

Sergio was a great tour guide. Showed us spots we didn't expect to see. Was accommodating to everything we wanted to see.
David_B, Jan 2026
A bit lacking in information during the drive, but the trip was interesting and the beach was fairly good. Shallow entry but soon deep enough for snorkeling.

A very good way to see the island. 2 hour tour, and 2 hours at a beautiful beach. We did find out once we got to the tour kiosk we could have had the same tour for $25 versus the $39 we Paid on Viator. I didn’t not regret the decision as if they had been sold out, we would have missed the tour. We had KiKi as our tour guide and driver and she was excellent.

The first half of this tour was spectacular and exceeded expectations. It was not a full two hours however. The second half was a bit disappointing as we were put in an unexpected situation at the beach. The first half was an excellent guided tour with lots of information and educational stops. We saw wild donkeys, lots of flamingos, the salt flats, the slave huts, the driftwood art. I originally intended to do this trip solo but met someone on the cruise ship who joined me at last minute. First she paid $15 less than I did by booking last minute, and second she was told beach chairs at the beach were included in the price. The tour was in an open sided bus which was great for pictures and scenery but very windy, so be prepared. Our guide was very knowledgable. There were only four of us on the bus and we were surprised when we were confronted with a dilemma at the beach.... two of the four wanted to go back immediately. The main reason I had booked this tour was for the two hours of beach time. Especially as a solo traveller I was attracted to the fact that I would be taken to a beach and then taken back to the ship. We were offered a 'deal' since the driver said it was not worth their while to take the two back to town and then come back at get us. She would give us back $5 which is the same price as taking a cab back to town. I am well-travelled as is the person who joined me last minute, so we took the deal and made our own way back. Had I been alone however, I would have been very unhappy and I am not sure what the resolution would have been. The beach chairs were NOT free - $10 each but included showers and change rooms. The beach was very busy with people learning to foil and windsurf so you had to keep an eye out while swimming. Taxis were coming and going but the driver initially wanted $10 a person to go back to the ship. Overall a happy ending for me but I want others to know what happened so you can make sure to know what to expect before you climb aboard. We were the only ship in Bonaire that day, so it might be worth your while to wait til you get in port and book something last minute on the street. Otherwise, as I said in the title ... half good, half unexpected but overall a good day for us. We are confident and gutsy.

MJ thank you very much to take time to type this comment, We'r very happy that you like our Island , happy that you enjoy the tour ,sadly Bonaire is the goal of keeping the Island unexplored we have limited option for beaches with facilities, Shade , bar , Restaurant ,rest rooms ,sandy beach ,therefor we use Sorobon beach , Our apologies for e miscommunication if there was expectation for free beach chair , the entree and used of the facilities included the rest rooms are free , however by logical the owner of the beach chair which is not us , charge for them to be use the cover there cost .
sad the read that a taxi wanted $10 pp as the regulated fee is $5 pp .
democrats expect opinion advising to wait for to last minute deal will not always work as expected .
because we always guarantee the intelligence client that have reservations by the system there space before we consider last minutes deal seekers.

It was extremely busy (it was Christmas Eve) not enough chairs but the pizza was delicious! I would try the experience again but not around Christmas
Carol_P, Dec 2025
We left about 20 minutes late and the tour was oversold by one so a woman volunteered to give up her spot. The microphone did not work and my husband and I were the only English speaking people so we could not hear or understand much of what was being said. The bus was on the highway when the passenger two rows ahead of me lost his snap-on- sunglasses which hit my lower lip. I was fine but his sunglasses were in the aisle. There should be some king of warning for unsecured items. We thought the beach was great except for the fact that chairs were an extra $10 and scarce.

The water at the beach was beautiful. It's a little rocky at the beginning but the farther you go out it not any. You can stand up without the water covering you at least 5 ft or a little taller.

Great experience with a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. Met at pickup location which was very easy to find. We left promptly and visited several locations.
I was the only one who wanted to stay at the beach and unfortunately the driver explained he couldn't return for one passenger. Luckily Taxis were readily available and only cost $5.
Gail_F, Oct 2025
Hardly any seats left by the time they got us to the beach. It was very sunny and crowded. Not a traditional beach. Can’t enter the water from the edge. I think there were turtles under moss in the area next to the edge.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Gail,
sorry for the inconvenience that it may have caused you but about the beach we don't have any saying about it.
It is an option that all the vendors are offering so it can be busy or quiet
Hopefully you did have enjoy all the information that was been giving during the tour.
Amy_H, Aug 2025
Tour was great, guide was informative and stayed as long as we wanted at each stop. Kind of disappointed in the beach though. Limited beach front. Kite surfers were everywhere.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Dear Amy thank you with your review the beach itself is a beach which is being shared between many parties and is one of the beaches for those who want to learn windsurfing and also good for kids because it sallowness, but hopefully you did have enjoyed the informative historical tour
Andrea_A, Aug 2025
We had a really good time, the guide was awesome. I leaned a lot about the salt manufacturing, and slave houses. The pink flamingos
TR_G, Aug 2025
Trip was what we expected. The tour company was punctual and straightforward. Very informative tour to learn about the Salt Mines, slave quarters and the seamen lighthouse. Kiki was our tour guide. The beach experience was awesome but the only con was trying to order food vs ordering drinks was chaotic and they don't rent umbrellas but only beach chairs.. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time and was able to swim and surf sail. Prices seem to be very reasonable for food items but we didn't get to enjoy it.

Desmond was our awesome tour guide! Pink salt, slave huts, lighthouse and flamingoes were highlights on the tour…2nd only to the BEACH!! That beach was the most incredible beach I’ve ever seen in all of the Caribbean. Absolutely flawless water. Crystal clear. Great food choices for snacks and the beach bar. Try the fish bites! I would rate this tour a 10/10.

Amazing the tour was insightful and fun.
Great service and very knowledgeable..
We had a full bus and all of the passengers were extremely pleased with the service and tour of Bonaire..Beautiful beaches …I give them 5 stars!

The tour was scheduled for 10 am. The rep showed up at the kiosk at 10:20 and told me it was delayed to 11 am. As I stood at the kiosk, the rep was trying to fill up the bus and was selling the tour for about 1/2 of what I had paid. The bus finally pulled out at 11:30 am. While the city tour was good, we arrived at the beach close to 2 hours later than expected, and because I had other plans for late afternoon, opted to go back to the ship. So... I paid twice what others on the tour paid and got 1/2 of what I was promised. Rento, the tour operator's response to my complaints was to tell me I had the option not to have gone at all, so they would do nothing to adjust the price.
Doris_D, Apr 2025
This was a great way to see the island. Great description of areas. We did leave 45” late. It’s Island time, mon! Luckily we had time and the music was terrific!
Keith_P, Mar 2025
No need to pre-book this tour as it is easier to book when you get off the ship. The price is only $25 per person. The tour does not last for 2 hours and only covers the south of the island. You can spend over 2 hours at the beach as there is an hourly bus for your return. I wouldn't call it a party bus as they only play music. No rum and no dancing on our trip.
Ann_Q, Mar 2025
the bus showed up for the excursion 90 minutes late. Water was supposed to be provided and they forgot it, there was no place to get any along the way.
we opted to skip the beach as we were not confident the bus would come back to get us
Sandra_C, Mar 2025
This was a great tour. They pointed out and stopped at some really cool places. The salt dunes were really cool.
Debra_V, Mar 2025
Ferdinand took us on a great tour of Bonaire. Enjoyed the salt mines and slave huts. Was able to see some flamingos and donkeys. Had an enjoyable 2 hours at the beach. Water was refreshing!
Patrick_W, Mar 2025
Interesting tour. Ferdinand did a great job giving us the history of the year. Beach ingress very easy. There were only a few rocks to navigate theen nice sand. You could wade out quite a ways. It only got waste deep.
Tammy_D, Mar 2025
Terrible tour old truck. 30 minutes late starting and then was going to dump us at a beach and told us he'd be back later. Don't take this tour
David_S, Feb 2025
Loved this excursion. The bus gave us much more room than some of the van tours. My wife an I are very tall, so that is great. They were waiting for us as we got off the ship and we were off in minutes. Loved the tour of the island. The time the beach was great and the guide said they would be back at a set time and they were right on time.
Louie_R, Feb 2025
The tour bus didn’t show up . The driver didn’t pick up the phone , I was unable to book again . Horrible experience.
Shantel_B, Jan 2025
Nice tour and beach time. Was allowed to stay at Sebastian beach longer than 2 hours.
Beach area had several areas blcked off and only 1 area to enter beach but was nice.
