Thank you very much!
We showed up at the office (per instructions) 45 minutes early because our hotel was not on the list for pick up. The office was closed, no one answered the phone numbers on the door, or the phone number on the confirmation. We waited and finally gave up. We are asking for a refund, but still in dispute.
Tour Guid was lovely. But not much to see. Thought that we were going to a Flamingo Sanctuary (that’s what it looked like on your add). Very disappointed about that.
To learn more about the Island. The SALT industry, the slave huts,1000 steps the flamingos, the donkeys on the island Dushi cactus distillery, etc
Our driver picked us up at our hotel promptly, was informative, displayed courtesy at all times, offered us water throughout the day. provided wonderful explanations on sites seen, answered all questions, and was very caring.
By choice we were dropped off at Bonaire Viator office. We were a complete surprise to them. Apprently a communication breakdown, however once our reservation was confirmed in the system, the staff quickly called in a tour guide and we were off on a marvelous 4 hour private tour with Williem! We rate him as 5 Star guide!
Fantastic. We signed up for a Sunday morning tour. There were no cruise ships in port. We had a private four hour tour. Great tour guide. Highly recommended.

Thanks for our review! We really appreciate it !
Basic Island overview tour. There was a significant amount of time spent driving for a very little bit of site seeing. The guide was pleasant enough and tried hard to entertain but there is just not that much to do or see on the island if not going into the water (beach/snorkel etc.).
Great fun and very informative. Our guide was very good and gave us a bunch of interesting facts. Took us to many great places.

Dear ckarche,
Thank you for going on tour with us and taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate it.
Sunny regards
A very good tour in air conditioned comfort by our female German guide who both drove us round and commentated. She had a large bag of photos and objects which were passed round to high light what ever was being described. The guide was perfectly positioned at the cruise terminal and could be seen immediately. We visited all the sites as described on the web site and saw many birds and animals all quickly identified by our guide who frequently stopped to show us interesting views, beaches near flora and fauna. A most enjoyable, informative excursion.
Excellent tour, good guide Bettina with a fine sense of humour. Recommended.
Guide was not waiting for us as stated and tour started at least half hour to 45 min later than scheduled. Guides’s microphone not working so those in back of bus had difficulty hearing. On a scale of 5 I’d give this tour a 3.
Nice overview of the island. Guide was very effective in conveying a local feel. We got to see all the highlights on the island in a small bus. Didn't feel rushed, and there were ample opportunities to get off the bus for photos. It also gave us enough time to explore the local market area by the ship. Would book this tour again.
Toured the island in a mini van that was late with pick up and then unsure that we would all fit. A rough start with a guide that knew her route well and gave us a scenic tour of the island.
This was our first time visiting Bonaire and we did so as cruise ship passengers. We absolutely loved Bonaire and this particular excursion did a great deal to contribute to that - - for several reasons. First, it was very easy to meet the company representatives as we departed the ship. They were waiting and ready with everything in place for us. Our guide, Pat, was superb...truly a great ambassador for the island. Not only did we travel around the island but as we did so, Pat shared the history, information about island life, and background of the places we were viewing as we passed by and, particularly, of the places where we stopped. Our driver, Andy, was great about spotting wildlife and making sure we were alerted to sights of interest as we traversed Bonaire. The tour provided a wonderful introduction to Bonaire...just the right amount of information, time and activities. We will return!
This is a beautiful Island, but unless you're in to diving, there's not a great amount to see. I'm glad we booked this tour rather than paying about double on the ship to probably see the same things, but we didn't get to stop at many places to take scenic photos, just got driven around and when we did stop at the slave huts there were so many other tours there as well it was difficult to get a photo without stacks of people in the shot. The beaches are certainly very nice.
The tour was nice, however, I would add a final stop in the beach and have the option to end the tour there or go back to the pick up point.
This tour started out as bad and got worse. When we got off the ship we followed directions to the Market at the Music booth. We hung out and nobody knew anything about a tour. We left and headed back to the ship, and when we got to the pier there was someone waiting for us. We waited over an hour for others to show up and along comes a couple that was also exactly where they were supposed to be per directions and somehow they too found us. The tour started out and after about 10 minuets this lady doing the tour was like watching the grass grow. No personality at all, and the tour was not what was represented. Rather than seeing some of the sights advertised this woman would go right by points of interest and instead stop and point out every cactus plant we passed. She would not stop and let us get out and take tours except at the small slave houses. This three hour seemed to last about 3 weeks. After the tour she would stop both in town and at the ship to get off. The first stop was in town right where we were supposed to go at the beginning. We got off with a two other couples and we all agreed we got off at the first stop just in case she stopped on the way back to the ship to show us another cactus plant. The worst tour I have ever been on.
Great tour guide, really interesting and enjoyed meeting her sister at one of the scheduled stops. Amazed with the salt deposits, never knew they were there.
Our guide was very informative and friendly. We saw the flamingos, though only at a distance. But that's what we set out to do.
First of all, this was not a luxury coach tour. 2005 toyota van and a little crowded with 8 people! Almost circled the entire island and was pretty informative-------what I could hear! The portable sound system she used was not clear at all------would have been better to have just spoke up!! Korine also had a bad cough saying she was getting over the flu but was not contagious. Not very comforting to me!
We saw several other coaches touring the island that appeared to be a little more up to date and comfortable.
The AC was only tolerable in the toyota van and this was June 1--------would not want to be anywhere near that van in July or August!
oh, the flamingos--------------saw about 8 so far away you could not tell what they were in the photos!
Great Guide, detailed island history and current ecological efforts. Had a great sense of humour that made it a fun tour. Well worth the money.
This was a great tour. We had a wonderful time. Would do it again fore sure
Pat was a great guide, and driver Julio helped identify local fauna.
If you're young and fit, opt for a snorkeling or dive tour, because Bonaire is the best in the Caribbean for the sports.
But for mature people who prefer the non-strenuous option, this was a great way to visit pretty much the entire island, from flamingos, to the solar salt works and beyond.
Take this tour cheaper than the cruise ship and you see lot, seem like we cover the whole island. The driver is very considerate even stop on the roadside so we can take a picture of the salt pond. A
Great guide, taking care of all the needs of the group components 8 people. Bonaire is a very natural island made of coral beaches and huge spectacular cactus. Would have been a 5 stars tour if also a stop at the beach had been included in the program.
This was our least favorite stop on the cruise. There is sea salt
Mining facility on one end of the island and a flamingo sanctuary on the other. Not much in between. Our tour guide picked us up on time. There were four of us on the tour. The driver got a phone call to pick up another passenger in a rental complex. We waited at the entrance for 45 minutes but she was a no show. We did the salt factory end of the island and had to go back to the complex where it took another 15 minutes to find the other passenger. As a result, one of our scheduled stops was closed when we arrived. The island is a desert covered with cacti, like an Arizona desert surrounded by an ocean. It's main attraction is for divers.
The tour itself hit all the high points of Bonaire and was very interesting. However, the guide should look for work elsewhere!! She told us not to ask any questions because she would cover it all in my tour. When someone in our group did ask a question, the guide was almost hostile and rude, and basically repeated I told you not to ask any questions. I will cover that in my tour. Her tone during the entire tour was not friendly.
Our ship was late docking, but this tour was waiting for us! The guide, Karen, was most knowledgeable about the island and history and included personal stories to help us fall in love with this island! I'm so sorry I don't remember the driver's name- he was amazing! I had the front seat as we had a full minivan! Every time I picked up my phone to take a pic, he pulled over to give me a better shot! He added interesting details to better appreciate Bonaire! Loved this tour!!!!
This was a great tour of the whole island. I had no idea each area of the island were so different from the other. The salt mountains were interesting to see, I loved climbing the rock and seeing the island from high above with a 360 view. I would do this tour again.
