Receive a morning pickup from your Bogotá hotel and transfer to the La Candelaria neighborhood to begin a history-themed sightseeing trip through this charming area.

Climb the steep stone streets of this historic neighborhood as you check out colonial-era buildings and a range of landmarks including the Museum of Colonial Art, Colon Theater, Gold Museum, The San Ignacio Church, La Casa de Nariño, Cultural Center Gabriel García Márquez, Casa de la Moneda, Botero Museum, Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History, Plaza Bolivar, The Santa Clara Church Museum, and The San Augustine Cloister.

Take a break at midday for an included lunch at a typical restaurant, and then continue your sightseeing by visiting La Quinta de Bolivar, the former residence of this iconic South American leader. Finish your trip by heading to the cable car that climbs up to Monserrate Monastery. Enjoy the views as you ascend 10,300 feet (3,152 meters) above the Colombian capital. You’ll be able to enjoy panoramic city views and tour the religious complex on site, including the Lord of Miracles statue in the main sanctuary. You’ll transfer back to your Bogotá hotel at the end of the trip.
