This was a great casual bird watching tour. We mainly chose it as an easy way to have transportation and access to Monserrate, with a nature focus. I'm a bird watcher but my wife isn't, this tour was casual enough for her, and valuable for me, sighting 22 new species. José was a great guide, fun to talk to, and knowledgeable about the region.

Fab tour - expensive but worth every penny

Diego was wonderful from the get go. Picked us up and dropped us off 45 mins away. He was very knowledgeable about birds as well as Bogotá and Colombia in general and shared lots of this with us. We are amateur bird watchers and he took this into account helping us with the binoculars etc. the ticket includes queue skip at all the right places so feels like it’s good value for money in the end! The only point to make is we went at 9am so lots of traffic and queues because we didn’t think about being earlier (like most real bird watchers) so would recommend the 5/6/7am tours!

Great Views, Expensive

I learned the next day that there is a birding trail, but we basically stayed among the buildings, walking through the shops in both directions, and seeing most of the birds at the feeders by the restaurant. Nataly was delightful and fun to spend time with, though more hardcore birding would have been better, especially given the very high cost.
