The Mountains were beautiful. Be sure to bring some water and take your time experiencing the beauty along the trails.

Our assigned guide, Dave Taylor, was a great, flexible, knowledgable host for the day. He picked us up at our hotel on time and adjusted the tour along the way as he started to get to know us. For example, he heard us talk about birds and flora and brought us to places to see each. He answered loads of question we had about Australia and knew Scenic World by heart, as well as other Blue Mtn "must-see" locations. He also found a lovely place for us to eat in Katoomba that was healthy and delicious. Lastly, our weather was very hot today, so he adjusted the end of the trip to help us manage the heat. Five stars!

We had an absolutely amazing time on this private Blue Mountains tour. It was the highlight of our whole trip. From start to finish everything was perfectly organized and completely stress free. Our guide, Dave, made the day not only fun but really personal, sharing local history, great stories, and the best lookout spots (way better than the crowded areas!). The views were unbelievable.
The wildlife experience was a huge bonus, getting up close to koalas and kangaroos was something we’ll never forget.
Finishing the day with the scenic cruise back into Sydney was the perfect ending. It was relaxing, beautiful, and such a cool way to see the Harbour.
We never felt rushed, every detail was handled, and we learned so much while having an amazing time. If you’re visiting Sydney and want something special, book this tour. It’s worth every dollar.

Dave is a gem, he cares for you the whole day whilst navigating the roads comfortably, is a mine of knowledge from stuff about the country’s history to details about animals, flowers and fauna. When it was very busy at Scenicworld he knew how best to beat the queues. Loved his choice of luncheon café in Katoomba. From breathtaking lookouts, to the Wildlife sanctuary to the relaxing ferry trip back to the city, you could not have a better day.

Our group of friends opted for our own van with an experienced guide to take us out to the mountains. It was an easy 90 minutes until we reached Katoomba. It was a fresh 15 degrees but so clear we could see for 100 miles. So green with all the gum trees and our very good guide explained all the other trees. He took us around to many vistas and Scenicworld which cost $59 each was worth the extra , we had over an hour there doing two train trips. In the forest valley was a boardwalk which our guide escorted us along, they even had life size dinosaurs roaring.
It’s a most worthy tour from Sydney but we think its worth the extra to take the private tour choice.

My husband and I completed our first trip to Sydney.We found Dave whilst chatting to out Hilton hotel manager as we only wanted a private tour and not with others. He had got good feedback on this tour and he reserved a place for only us with a 9am pick up. Dave friendly and is well versed in all things about Australia and the mountains, he is so genuine in explaining his 35 years of conducting these tours. The mountains were just as you see on the advertising and you get to see lots of koalas etc. at Featherdales park. The drive is most comfortable at a very easy pace. This was one of our best tours ever.

The explanations throughout the day by Dave were so informative, he took us to his secret places away from the crowds because we did a private tour and he really kept it just for us. As if we owned the Blue mountains. This was our once in 3 year vacation so we wanted it made special and Dave sure ticked all the boxes. Absolutely perfect.

This is the way to see the Blue Mountains! Just us with a very knowledgeable guide, a vehicle that got us around with ease and comfort, a day tuned to our interests. All of this plus it was topped off with a wonderful morning, the perfect insiders lunch and a wonderful afternoon tea. Days don't get much better than this!

A great day trip during our recent cruise. A lovely way to see the countryside and Australian mountains rather than the high rise towers of downtown Sydney. Dave was a Great guide and shared his love for the mountains. We chose to visit the Scenic World and ride the rides - well worth it. Loved the eucalyptus forest walk. Great vistas.

If the weather forecast shows rain, reschedule your tour for the Blue Mountains. All we saw was fog and rain. Our day consisted of two hour drive up, 30 minutes at scenic park for additional cost, lunch and two hours back. Advertised luxury Bmw transportation, got a van. Definitely not what we expected! I don’t know why they would be upfront when I asked if the weather would impact the trip. Definitely not worth what we paid.☹️
