He was so nice. We went at a reasonable pace. He was very knowledgeable about the city. We had a great experience and would do it again.

Our guide was very friendly but he seemed to have no knowledge of Bern and its history. We had walked the city the night prior on our own and we just pretty much ended up redoing the same walk and did not learn anything new about the city.He had sheets with facts on it but he did not use them much. He would simply stop in front of certain buildings, tell us it was a building rich in history, and tell us to read the information when there was some on the walls. We booked an English tour but our guide had a hard time understanding our questions and most of the time would only answer: “I’ll check” but not actually check or follow up.
We spent 30 min at the bear park on a 2hr tour of one of the most historical city in Switzerland looking for hidden bears.
At the end of the tour, he took photos of our group but they were awful. He ended the tour by offering to send us more information on the city but we wanted that info during the tour not after. I’ve never experienced this before booking a guide in any city before. It almost felt like a joke.

Our guide was wonderful! She went into a lot of detail. We had 12 people in the group and she managed to keep track of all. She’s from Mexico and has only lived here 4 years so it was amazing what details she provided. Unfortunately my husband and I can’t remember her name.

I arrived in Bern on Easter Monday & everything seemed dead with stores closed & hardly any people. I took the tour the next day & our guide, Karina, changed my outlook on Bern as we went along with the tour. I learned a lot about Bern (from Bear), the origin of Lindt & Toblerone. She pointed out details about Einstein, the churches, etc. I especially enjoyed the clock tower & learned that Bern was only the political capital of Switzerland. I learned what CHF finally meant. She suggested to visit the Einstein Museum, so I walked to the museum and later back to Old Town. After joining the tour, Bern is a very interesting city after all. Thanks Karina, for changing my outlook on Bern, the city of Bears & everything Einstein! Awesome job, Karina.. who showed enthusiasm & joy in showing her guests around Bern.
