We had such a great tour with Anand. He was informative, friendly and enthusiastic. Really enjoyed the option of walking by the river/forest side and enjoyed the views. He was also very helpful at the end with options to do/restaurants/ Christmas markets.

Anend arrived on time and was very personable. He brought his bike on the tour. That never slowed us down. We walked through a varietyI of areas, seeing.the history and development of Bern. we say the sites Bern is noted for as well as parts of Bern off the beaten path. We enjoyed our experience very much.

This tour really emphasise why we do private tours, it was a stroll around Bern with a great guide who just went at our pace and we spoke about the very interesting Bern and the role it has played in many aspects of history and world events, he easily accommodated our interests and could adapt at ease to any direction we went with our conversations and questions, a refreshing change to tour guides, Thanks James we had a great time

We had such a great morning walking through Bern with Graham. He was knowedgable about the city and took us to so many of the best spots in the city. We learned so much about the history and culture of the city. We booked a four hour tour which was a perfect amount of time to see so much of what Bern has to offer. I highly recommend this tour to someone who has a limited amount of time in this great city!
Graham even took pictures throughout the tour to share with us when we returned to the States.

We had a wonderful tour of Bern with James. He was quite knowledgeable and it was like exploring the city with a new friend. Before meeting, I told him I was interested in exploring there history of the Mennonites in Bern and he did some research and showed us pertinent places. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to learn about my families history in this beautiful city.

A young Swiss woman named Severine met us for the tour. She had worked in Bern for over 10 years, and lived there for the last five.
Severine was the same age as my oldest son, so all of my boys related to her.. we Spent nearly 3 hours walking around town taking all the sites and listening to personal experiences separate had as well as local history & current culture.
Severine is a sweetheart. Although our tour should’ve ended after two hours, she stayed with us and took us to a local shop after we expressed interest in purchasing something.
Severine was a bit quiet, but very informative. The whole family felt comfortable with her, and we enjoyed the tour very much.

Severine was lovely. She made our tour unique based on our interests. She suggested restaurants and shops and shared local cultural history. She also told us about present day Bern and what it is like to live there. It was a well rounded tour with a fantastic guide.

Worst experience ever with Viator so far. It was not like going around with a local . In fact the guide has limited knowledge of the place. He was smoking all through the tour in spite of the fact that kids were walking close to him. I won’t be recommending this guide for anyone.

Yvonne was super knowledgeable about the city and took us places that tourists wouldn’t necessarily find on their own. She was very pleasant and it was fun to see the city thru the eyes of someone who has lived there. We had lots of questions about life in Switzerland and she answered them all !

While I understood that the tour guide was not a professional, at the price point ($300 for 2 hours), I did expect them to have some knowledge of the city. Frankly, my group and I are inquisitive enough that we would have learned more by looking on Wikipedia as we walked around ourselves. I’d never use this company again. My advice: buy yourself a day of data and a city map, and spend the $280 you save on dinner.

Our guide had no information we did not already know. It was a total waste of time and money. Our guide was French and had only been in Bern two yrs. This is not what was represented when we signed up for the tour.
