Our tour to Stone Henge with Daniel Hancock was excellent! We had two adults and a 5-year old in our group, and we all had a fantastic time. Daniel was very knowledgeable and the experience was engaging and fun. We started with the history of the area in the museum portion of the site, and spent a good amount of time exploring the site itself and getting some lovely photos. Daniel also had solid recommendations for things to see and do around Bath, which were recommendations we followed and enjoyed. Thanks, Daniel!

Really enjoyed this tour of Stonehenge- our guide/driver Daniel made all the difference. He was so knowledgable, entertaining and hospitable. Easy to hang out with and he provided all sorts of additional information and anecdotes.

Daniel was absolutely superb in every fashion. He touched base with us prior to the tour to let us know what to expect and if we had any concerns. My wife is in a wheelchair. He saw to her every need without exception. The the trip to and the tour of Stonehenge was outstanding and exceeded all our expectations! Daniel’s professional knowledge of Stonehenge and the region is remarkable. His unique and most enjoyable way of including us in the conversation kept us involved and our time with him flew by! We will most certainly seek out Daniel for all future tours when we next visit England!

Daniel, our guide, was excellent! He opened a line of communication prior to the event so we could ask questions and express our interest. It was a beautiful drive from Bath to Stonehenge with easy conversation and information about surrounding countryside. Once we arrived at Stonehenge, Daniel walked us through the visitor center highlighting and enhancing key information. Once at the stones, he was able to discuss the history, theories, and points of interest among the stones and the surrounding landscape. I would highly recommend this tour. It was well worth our time and did not disappoint in any way.

Amazing and memorable experience with a top-notch guide! Despite Stonehenge being closed due to high winds, Daniel smoothly adjusted the plan and delivered great views of the rocks from a short walk on a public road.

Daniel led three of us on a very organized tour. Picked us up from the hotel and gave an enjoyable commentary on the way to and from Stonehenge. He brought us through the Visitor Center, all the while explaining what we were seeing. Since it was becoming more crowded, we didn’t need to try to read the signage.
He pointed out many small details while at the ring. We would not have appreciated the magnificence of this special place without having the informative one-on-one commentary that Daniel provided.
He also found my sunglasses which I lost before we even started out toward the stones!

Dan provided insights we may not have gotten in a larger tour group. His ability to explain the “what” and the “when” of Stonehenge while emphasizing the difficulty in explaining the “why” was particularly insightful. Dan was fun and shared great stories. Definitely a great experience!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience on this private tour to Stonehenge. Daniel, our tour guide, was fantastic! Daniel was friendly and very knowledgeable about Stonehenge, Bath, and the surrounding area (Daniel is from Bath). Our tour started with us being picked up at our hotel in Daniel's vehicle which is comfortable and has a panoramic roof for viewing the full surroundings of the area while seated in his vehicle. We then embarked on an approx. hour long drive from Bath to Stonehenge. The UK countryside is beautiful and the drive was very relaxing. Upon arrival to Stonehenge tickets are required to access the site and Daniel had already taken care of this. Daniel then took us inside the Stonehenge Visitor Center and walked us through the center while explaining the history of Stonehenge. After we completed this brief tour, we then boarded a shuttle bus for a quick five minute drive that takes you from the visitor center to the Stonehenge monument. We then spent about 30-45 minutes walking around the monument, taking photographs, absorbing the energy, etc., which was an absolutely wonderful experience! Afterwards we took the shuttle bus back to the visitor center, did a little shopping in the giftshop, and the departed for an hour long journey back to our hotel in Bath. On our way back, Daniel stopped by a park perched on a hill that overlooked bath which gave us birds-eye view of the city; spectacular! This is a must do when in Bath and Daniel is a five star tour guide!
