Itinerary

After a busy day of sightseeing in Bangkok, enjoy a relaxing evening on the river. Your night begins when you meet your crew at one of the two designated meeting points—make your own way there—and are greeted with a welcome drink.

Take a seat on board your ship and admire the night views along the Chao Phraya River. Dine on a tasty buffet dinner with a variety of Thai and international dishes, to suit all palates and preferences. Alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase. Enjoy the live entertainment throughout the night, which can include a Thai classical dance show and a fun cabaret.

As the evening draws to a close, you’ll be dropped off at the same place you boarded the boat. Make your own way back to your accommodation or keep the party going independently.

As other reviews have said, the food was passable and the entertainment was okay-- there's so many people per boat that it gets quite loud and the buffet line gets hectic. The only reason to book this trip is the cruise -- which was quite a nice tour of a short segment of chaos praya river including the wat pho, wat Arun, and the grand palace. If there are cheaper boats you can take down the chao praya, do that instead of paying extra for this cruise and subpar food

Viator were correct in recommending plenty of check in time. I would like to say that Asiatic pier was organized chaos, but in fact, it was just chaos!!! The White Orchid desk was just a trestle table hidden by hundreds of tourists 200m down one of the walkways. Here you were supplied with a sticker and a ticket with your table number on. You then went back to the quayside to join a long queue for the boat! Once we stepped abord the boat we experienced excellence. We were immediately shown to our individual table with water and aperatif. The buffet was comprehensive and of high quality. The entertainment was professional and enjoyable. Altogether a good night and very good value, would recommend.

Good view, bad food

The cruise portion of this dinner cruise was very nice. The view from such boats is simply incredible, especially after dark. The food available on this particular dinner cruise was subpar. Most everything was a shade of brown, fried, and not particularly flavorful. Although we are in Thailand, nothing had any spice at all. It says if they cooked to the lowest common denominator. For this reason, while I recommend taking such a cruise, I don’t necessarily recommend taking this particular one.

The cruise is not bad. You get the experience of enjoying the radiant riverside of Bangkok. Stage performance was not bad also, they presented local songs as well as English songs. Food taste was pretty average. They provided Rice/ noodles/ fish/ chicken- two types of each, salad and deserts. Beer was unlimited. Did not taste it. The most important is considering all the goods and bads , the cruise seems quite overpriced. 50-55 USD /person. Not gives the value for money. 30 USD/ person could have been a justifiable price. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Horrible food, we couldn’t even eat it. Worst pad Thai ever. Lower desks are super loud and unpleasant. We couldn’t wait to get off the boat. They played “happy birthday” for 10 minutes straight. Do yourself a favor and skip. I wouldn’t wish this on our worst enemy. Horrible. I’m sure all the boats are the same.

I am sure you realised this when you booked. You said the food was horrible but you went up several times on cctv. I am sorry you don’t like the team to sing happy birthday to customers who are there to celebrate. You would not wish this on anyone but you never mentioned this once to any staff member. You did not speak to the manager as well. If you did maybe they would have let you off but you continued to enjoy the cruise. You are completely wrong that all the boats are the same and are only speculating. I suggest next time you book a sit down cruise like the saffron or the Manohra which may be to your liking. I chose this cruise for sights from open upper deck. Seats were assigned. This was not explained. I was in middle of lowest deck next to buffet line Could see nothing Went to top deck after dinner not really even anywhere to stand. Food was good. Entertainment. Very loud all night all 3 floors. Would recommend if you can ask for top deck. Otherwise spend money on nice rooftop bar with view of major landmarks. Also. Booked once through. GetYourGuide.com for night of arrival. Flights delayed and they did nothing to allow us to reschedule

Was average …..they way to find them was very difficult inside the iconsiam mall . We got seating in the lower floor , wish it was upper floor inspite of paying so much for the new year dinner cruise . Wish it was better … but we managed to think positive and not spoil the new year eve. Food was very average .. entertainment was very average . Fireworks was good which they didn’t organize it was for general public . They charged exorbitantly high for this normal dinner ….

Just sailing down the river is the best part the entertainment was really fun.. the only thing that spoilt it was we got there at 6pm as of request that was 2 hour standing around in the heat and no seating at all we still hadn't boarded by 8 pm .. As I had to stand around all that time my bad knee had swollen when we came to leave I actually fell down the stairs no one was there to ask if I was ok

Start of well, good seating position on top deck. Just as food was serving, the rain came down. We had to go below, but there was no room on second level and had to go to water line (third level) Here there was no food being served, and had to struggle upstairs, with children to get food. Spent whole trip inside as the DOORS were closed stopping people from getting back onto the main deck to take photos. We have a good collection of photos with the window rain and no live music.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your review and I am sorry to hear that the food was bland for you. I hope that you called the waiter or the cruise manager to give your feedback. As you know food taste is subjective but the cruise has over 45 stations to chose from ! The seating is by the cruise ship for various reasons and all you have to do is ask which you did. Thanks, Nick
