Itinerary

Your day starts with pickup from your Bangkok hotel in the morning by your professional local guide.

The first stop will be a tour of the Grand Palace, located near the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Wander around the grounds of this essential city stop. The kings of Siam called this stunning gilded palace home from 1782 until 1925. The grounds are also home to the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which houses a statue of Buddha that was carved from a single of piece of jade.

Next, head to Wat Traimit, or the Temple of the Golden Buddha and admire the 10-foot (3-meter) tall and 5.5-ton golden Buddha, the largest in the world.

Continue on to Wat Benchamabophit, or the Marble Temple, featuring pillars built from carara marble imported from Italy.

The final temple stop will be Bangkok's oldest temple, Wat Pho, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Marvel at the massive reclining Buddha statue covered in gold leaf.

A lunch at a local restaurant is provided, along with drop-off back at your hotel.
