We joined the Baku sightseeing tour as a family and honestly had a great time. The route was well planned, we saw both the Old City and the modern parts of Baku without feeling rushed, and everything was very well organized. Our guide, Rafiq, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient – he explained the history in an interesting way and also helped us with photos and small tips about the city. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to other families visiting Baku.

I absolutely loved this tour! Our guide, Elvin, was not only super knowledgeable but also had this funny way of explaining history that made everyone smile. We expected just a short Old City walk, but it turned out to be a full journey through both ancient and modern Baku! The Flame Towers at sunset were breathtaking. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Baku for the first time! Try local restaurants that tour guide offers ( qutab, shah plow are delicious!)

Abdullah is both knowledgeable and personable. He gave a very clear presentation of Baku’s history and brought me to scenic spots in the Old City and beyond. We had a long, engaging and wide-ranging conversation that touched on many aspects of life in Baku. I would highly recommend this tour.

A tour does not deliver on its promises.

While Abdulla, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging about the history, the tour did not follow the advertised program. Unfortunately, we did not visit many of the sites that were listed in the itinerary. This discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered made the tour feel like poor value for the price we paid. While I appreciate Abdulla's efforts as a hardworking student striving for the best education, my main concerns are with the tour organizers. It is unacceptable to charge a high fee for a tour that fails to deliver on its promises. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and that improvements will be made to ensure future tours meet expectations.

I did this trip with Abdullah who communicated well to confirm times etc. There was the right amount of information given, not too much as sometimes is the case. Abdullah was an i te resting man who spoke to the 3 of us almost as if we were people he actually knew rather than people he was just spending a couple of hours with. We were given recommendations for places/food etc too which is always good. Highly recommended.

Abdullah is very knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of info about past and present matters. Some parts of Baku can only be seen on foot, and Abdullah guided us expertly. At the end of the tour I felt confident to walk around by myself.

Baku is a amazing , big city, mix of modern & old architecture & styles! I like it much more than Dubai! I booked a group tour but I was the only guest on this interesting city tour with a very knowledgeable guide Adbullah. He showed me so many great sites included in the tour & even more than promised by the agency. He speaks excellent English & he shared with me so many important information in different fields of life in this amazing country.I enjoyed listening stories about the old city of Baku, walking in its very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere, seeing many historic buildings & cafes, restaurants & little shops. I have seen Maiden Tower, Palace of Happiness, Armenian Church & mosques & many other important locations, only the Miniature Book Museum was closed. Abdullah was very pleasant & did his best to make me enjoy my visit to Baku! It was very hot in the afternoon & having ice cream while walking at the promenade, by the lake, was a good idea. It felt as talking& walking with a friend at this half day tour of Baku. Abdullah was always showing respect & sense of humor which I liked a lot. Thanks Abdullah & the agency!

Hello Bryce! I'm Abdullah. I texted you on WhatsApp. You didn't reply. I contact everyone on WhatsApp one day before to confirm the tour with them and establish a personal connection. I'm a university student. I leave my university to give the tours. I arrived a few minutes after 10. You saw me coming out of the metro. Regarding your point about history. I went through you the whole history of not only Azerbaijan but the region we even talked about WW2 in Europe, France and Algeria when we got to the place Charles de Gaules stayed as we went through the monuments. I connected it with the present of the country. We stood by the independence declaration talking about history for so long that I remember you leaning on the wall which I took as a sign to wrap things up. I took you to the Juma Mosque, told you about the history of Islam and religion in Azerbaijan. Explained the difference between Shias and Sunnis. I showed you the nooks and crannies of the old city, told you stories of its inhabitants. Told you our stories of the Maiden Tower, history of the Caspian Sea. I shared suggestions for places to visit. Asked if you needed anything and said I'm here if you need anything in Baku. This is going to be recognised by any past or future guests. Did you request anything from me that I declined doing, asked me anything that I ignored? Your wife asked about scarves and I offered to negotiate for her. I even gave a tour to one extra person who didn't have her name on the list no questions asked until the end. Initially I thought she was related to you so I didn't say anything. "Cocky and impressed with himself" That's not something you use to rate a tour 2/5. Humour I use to make the tour more enjoyable and memorable. I put on a performance for tourists every day because it's a job. Polina her boyfriend, and Emmie the unregistered guest both tipped and seemed quite happy. I and my wife(70 +) have enjoyed very much the tour. Our guide Mr. Huseyn Ourbakli was very well documented, his explanations were rich and clear He was very patient and friendly. We intend to participate in such tours again during our next visit to Baku.
