This is not a tour . I have done many Viator tours and this one is a stitch up unfort !
Please be very careful reading the fine print because , the only thing included here is the taxi . Now the taxi man was extremely lovely , he picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off at the entrance of Ellora - great ! Then , I had to buy my own ticket (600 Rupees ) and I was obliged to get a guide (1800 rupees ) - you don’t really need a guide unless you are really passionate about every detail , but if you are like me , you would likely want to get to the site and take pics and have your own time . Anyways , I paid for the guide (he was pushy but he was ok - took all the pics I wanted ) and we left . I never received the guide book mentioned in the tour details.
Back to the taxi , and his lunch choice was amazing ! - then off to the mini Taj , which I had to pay for (300 rupees ) and then home . Sorry I don’t understand why this is called a tour when it just a taxi service. Very disappointed and I think people should be very aware before booking this . If you want just a taxi service, ask at the hotel how much the round trip is , i guarantee you it will be half the price and then you can pay for everything else at your own will . For me …
