We had a great time on our historical Segway tour. Jeremie did a great job showing us the sites and keeping us safe. It was informative and a lot of fun and highly recommended. We Segway when we go on vacation to different cities to get a feel of the town and this gave us a good feel for the place.

Itinerary

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Atlanta.

Riding on a Segway isn’t rocket science, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a large city like Atlanta. So this tour begins with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds to participate.

With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.

On this Segway tour around Atlanta, cruise along to the quirky Cabbagetown neighborhood on the city’s east side. This former mill town is now home to amazing artistry and eats—some of the best food in Atlanta, in fact. Continue to the nearby Oakland Cemetery, the oldest cemetery and one of the largest green spaces in Atlanta. Check out the spectacular view of the Atlanta skyline from here.

Then in the Old Fourth Ward is the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, featuring several buildings, including Martin Luther King, Jr.'s childhood home and the original Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he was not only baptized, but also where he and his father were pastors.

Roll through the Inman Park neighborhood, Atlanta's first planned community and one of the nation's first garden suburbs. This U.S. Historic District was also part of the battlefield in the Civil War’s Battle of Atlanta in 1864. Then travel along the Atlanta BeltLine, the former railway corridor around the core of the city that is a model of innovative redevelopment.

Finally, return to the downtown starting point a lot wiser about Atlanta’s past and present.

It was a great way to see the city, while still being in control of the view. Love our tour guide Jeff, he was very knowledgeable, patient and good with safety. I would highly recommend this for someone who has never tried a segwe before.

Segway - the best way to see and learn about Atlanta

Renee_F, May 2025
This is the best way to see Atlanta and learn about its fascinating history and culture. Our guide, Jet, gave just enough information at the points of interest and made everyone feel confident and safe riding the Segway through the city.

My mom and I participated in a tour led by Jeremy and had such a wonderful time ! Jeremy was a great and patient teacher since neither of us had ridden a segway before. He was also consistently pointing out obstacles in the road that we should watch out for such as uneven curbs or low-hanging tree branches overhead. He was super knowledgeable about the Atlanta local area and gave us a great BBQ recommendation. He even made an extra stop for us at the King Center since we were a small group and ahead of schedule. The other staff at the office were very nice as well. I would definitely recommend this to people, especially those who have never done a segway tour before and aren't sure if they would like it. We had a really great time !

Great Tour

Adrienne_G, May 2025
The Segway Tour was really cool. It was my first experience this and I was a little scared at first but our tour guide was amazing! He helped you feel comfortable with a training on how to operate the Segway before we went on the tour. The tour was really nice as well. We went past the belt line, cabbage town and saw some beautiful murals, Dr. Martin Luther King's house and neighborhood and that historical site and other places. I took my 13 year old nephew and he enjoyed it.

An absolutely unforgettable experience! Jeremy was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and truly passionate about what he does. Every moment was thoughtfully curated, making it both enjoyable and enriching. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough—don’t miss it!

Best training, safe and fun morning!

Entire experience was fun - safety is priority number one. Have done several Segway tours and this is one of the most thorough trainings we’ve ever experienced. Steph in the office and your guide Jett were all wonderful. Friendly, kind, helpful and informative. Definitely recommend even if you aren’t athletic or a newbie - it’s a perfect first time Segway tour!

Worth every penny.

Great experience, starting at our greeting/check-in through the ride and ending back at the place. The tutorial our guide gave us made us adept on the Segways pretty quickly. Jet (our guide) was great - helpful, kind and friendly. Jet was knowledgeable and not bothered by all our questions. The tour itself was fun and informational. It gave us a nice sampling of the city, and its history. As the ride goes on, you get more and more comfortable on it. My teens had a blast, as did the old folks. PS We got lots of rec's for things to do,places to go while in Atlanta.

Fun outing!

We’re pretty familiar with Atlanta, but this tour took us to areas we’d never been to before so we loved it. Our guide Jett was super informative and attentive, making sure we’re always safe. My husband and I are in our early 60’s and highly recommend this tour to anyone active and young at heart.

Never did a Segway before and our trainer, Jet, did a great job training. It took a bit to get the hang of it but he made sure we were confident before proceeding.

Excellent! Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend!! I was very nervous at first, but Jett was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and showed us how to use the segways in a clear and calm manner. Jett was funny, told us loads of great info I didn't know, and showed us some great places! Had so much fun, highly recommend!! And the girl in the office (I'm sorry, I don't know your name) was really lovely and friendly, overall a great morning! Thank you!!

Great Tour of Midtown by Jett

Briana_W, Apr 2024
Jett gave a great tour of Midtown Atlanta. We noticed many buildings and learned several facts that we couldn't have known of walking the streets on our own. A Segway tour is a great way to see a new city.

An absolute must if you are in Atlanta!

Stephen_M, Mar 2024
Excellent tour!! The Martin Luther king area was fascinating. The guide was very knowledgeable and a really nice guy. First class service !

Segway through historic Atlanta

Family Fun in the ATL

Karen_W, Nov 2023
My family had an amazing time on the 2.5 hr Segway tour with Jeremy yesterday! There was something for everyone—my teen boys got their adventure fix as we sped thorough city, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes in Inman and my husband really enjoyed viewing the murals painted by local artist. As an added bonus we learned a lot along the way about the city’s roots, cultural history, and future city growth plans. Jeremy was a great instructor! He made sure we all felt comfortable and were equipped to ride the segways before heading off. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and offered recommendations for restaurants and places to visit (you have to try the donuts at The Salty in the Krug district!!). If you’re looking for something to do on a day visit to Atlanta I highly recommend ATL Cruzers. If traffic and parking are a concern try parking at the airport and riding the MARTA into the city

Memorable tour and lots of fun!

Jonathon_B, Nov 2023
Very enjoyable tour with Jeremy as our guide. Directions and communication to the shop were clear and easy to follow. The tour was fun, Segways are amazing, sites and terrain and the history of the city were all excellent. The Martin Luther King Jr center is a highlight. Thanks, Jeremy!

Jet was wonderful he made this tour very unique and special. Sageway was also fun it surprised me How much Atlanta has so many cool street art. Just beautiful

It’s not as hard as you think!

Julie_P, Jan 2023
I was nervous about riding the segway, but a couple practice laps around the square with Mira’s help and helpful tips made me more comfortable and soon I was riding like a pro! Riding the segway was a lot of fun, and we were able to see so many sites. We went to MLK’s childhood home, his father’s church and the memorial site. The Beltline was such a cool part of the city and the street art is amazing!
