All 3 of the tour guides were great! They were all very accommodating, polite, friendly, and best of all they were fun!!!! Great little 1/2 day tour to see some turtles that are up to 90 years old. Also got to see a few Macaws 🦜 in their habitat. The snorkeling was amazing. So many pretty fish and corral reefs to gaze at. Would recommend to everyone.

Captain Dave and Mark were great!! The communication was fantastic between the reservation taker and us. We wanted a bit of a sight seeing tour as well as some history and snorkeling. This trip was fantastic for that!! Captain Fave was engaging and very upbeat and happy as was Mark! Mark took us out snorkeling and pointed out many underwater things in about 15 feet of water and pulled up conch shells for a few. Great stuff! Wonderful tour at the Laviscount island turtle sanctuary. Our guide there was awesome as well! We fed turtles in the turtle zombie apocalypse which was hysterical as well! Highly recommend this trip. Great food and some rum punch at the end too!!

This was a very good tour overall, and I loved the guides, but it really only goes to two places: Laviscount Island and Hell’s Gate. I loved both those stops, but the itinerary says that Great Bird Island is also included, and it isn’t. We snorkeled near Great Bird Island, where most of us (including me) saw absolutely nothing. That was disappointing. If you’re considering this tour, you should also know that the water can be VERY choppy (and was on the day I went), so you need to be up for a rocky boat ride and getting drenched on board.

The crew was friendly. We loved the snorkeling experience and saw lots of different fish. Hell’s Gate was an adventurous little hike and the tortoises were fun to feed.

Leslie. Arian, and Makai were amazing guides! We visited a wildlife refuge and got up close with tortoises large and small. Then visited Hell’s gate island, which was probably the coolest thing we have ever done. Short swim up to the island then a very cool short hike through a little cave and to the top of the arch. Fantastic snorkeling and private beach to end the trip.

What an incredible day! We were picked up on time, and the rest of the day was spent on the water, learning the history and culture of the island, enjoying a great meal, and soaking up the sun! Our leaders, David, Mark and Bob (!) were extremely helpful, and shared their knowledge and expertise the entire day! Thank you for your patience and assistance - it meant the world to me!

This tour was unfortunately not a good fit for me.
First, I arrived at the beach for pickup at 9:02 when I was told to be there at 9:20, but was apparently late because the boat was already there and my pickup time was supposedly 9:00! Next, I had a small plastic bag for my sunscreen, which I’ve reused multiple times, and was lectured for a few minutes about plastic bags and the environment, of which I’m fully aware. I’m vegetarian for crying out loud! Third, time feeding the tortoises, which was my main purpose for signing up, was rushed to 10 minutes with some useless time spent instead watching macaws in cages and hiking along a forgettable trail instead.
Now to the second half. Hells Gate is really hells gate. It requires a 75-100 foot swim from the boat. I’m a weak swimmer bordering on non-swimmer but managed to make it with a life jacket. The hike on the rock is treacherous and following instructions critical. The guides realize our lives are in their hands. Be prepared for military style orders and constant scolding, bordering on shouting. Not the place for sensitive people.
The last part was the snorkelling. I snorkelled once before and wanted to again. There was no time or patience for on the spot training. I was given the equipment but the captain confiscated these after a minute. I’m confident I would have got the hang of it with the life jacket and flippers, in about five minutes. But the boat was a few minutes away from the snorkelling area, not right on top like my other experience a few years ago, and everyone else had to leave.
Some positives: boat ride was smooth and enjoyable, interesting information shared along the way, good lunch and snacks, timely drop off, one of the three crew members was more my type-quieter and kind.

The entire tour was awesome! The instructions for parking and pickup were very detailed and easy to follow. The boat arrived on-time and loading were seamless. The entire crew was AWESOME and very knowledgeable. They made the tour worth the money spent! I will definitely do this tour again with friends or family! Thank you so much for a great adventure!

Amazing tour with great staff. Nice experience on the island with turtles and nice site. The Hells gate is quite a challenge but glad we went up and down of it, great instructors. Enjoy!
