Arnault is a saint! What a wonderful tour—and we completed the Walk of the Martyrs and the Queen’s Palace. He is so flexible, knowledgeable, and kind. Perfect guide. Highly recommend!!

We booked a 3-hour custom walking tour in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and had the pleasure of having Vivian as our guide. Even though we booked a 3-hour tour, Vivian spent well beyond the allotted time with us and thoughtfully added a few extra experiences without charging us anything extra. Her generosity and willingness to go the extra mile truly made the experience special. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. Before the tour, Vivian contacted us to learn about our interests, likes, dislikes, and what our family would enjoy seeing. She thoughtfully curated the experience around our preferences, which made the tour feel very personal.
On the day of the tour, Vivian arrived early and waited for us at our hotel. She took us on a wonderful adventure around the city, including traveling by local bus, which was such a fun and authentic experience for our family. She showed us beautiful viewpoints, introduced us to different parts of the city, and even incorporated some shopping time for my two daughters, which they really enjoyed.
One of the highlights of the tour was Vivian's knowledge of Madagascar's history. She took every opportunity to explain the history, culture, and significance of the places we visited. Her stories brought everything to life and made the experience much more meaningful.
Most importantly, we felt completely safe and well cared for throughout the tour. Vivian was incredibly sweet, respectful, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. She made sure we were comfortable at every step and safely brought us back to our hotel at the end of the experience.
We would highly recommend Vivian to anyone visiting Madagascar. She is knowledgeable, respectful, attentive, and truly passionate about sharing her country with visitors. She helped make our time in Antananarivo a memorable experience, and we are very grateful for her wonderful hospitality!

Excellent walking tour in Antananarivo. The tour started from the hotel , visited the different sections of the city. It was nice to learn about the history of Tana , its people , the culture , and the challenges that the country has faced. Beautiful city , but just like any other big city some areas are crowded and chaotic requiring extra precaution. My guide Viviane was amazing . She was very flexible , kind and knowledgeable. She is very passionate about her country. She communicated well prior to and up to the day of the tour. She was accommodating to a change in my tour schedule due to flight delays, was understanding and made sure that I had a great tour. I highly recommend doing this walking tour , if you have time please spend more time , 3 hours goes too fast.

Walking tour up to Haute Village was really insightful and our guide shared some interesting history. It was only 3 hours but we certainly packed a lot in.,great recommendations for lunch too.,

Our local guide Lanto took us on foot from our hotel in Independence Square up to the Queens Palace, stopping along various points of interest along the way (which we wouldn't have realised if travelling independently), and showed us around the museum in the Queens Palace. Lanto was very friendly and highly knowledgeable- sharing interesting stories about the Malagasy culture, and was able to answer all our questions. Remember to bring local cash for the Queens Palace (40k Ar per foreigner, plus 10k Ar for the local guide).

Nathan picked me up at my hotel and we took a taxi downtown for the tour. He was a very informative and entertaining tour guide. I learned a lot and the time sped by. He even made arrangements with our taxi driver to drive out of the way back to my hotel so I could pick up some specific vanilla to take home as a present. All in all, an excellent tour.

My excellent tour guide, Lanto, is a third year tourism major university student. She takes me around town from my hotel all the way to the Queen Palace, visiting a few landmarks along the way. It is a fun filled tour to see Antananarivo before flying out to see the country. Highly recommended.
