Our guide Elissa was excellent. We arrived by ship and the storefront was just a short walk away from the cruise terminal (not very far from where you pop out from the tunnel under the street). Heed the other reviews - the hike is moderately strenuous but well worth the effort and the views.

This was a great tour! Our tour guide Sony was super friendly and made sure everyone was looked after. We did not rush and after a short e-bike ride we arrived at the base of Sukkertoppen. We were lucky to get sunny weather. It had been raining all week. The walk is challenging if you do not regulary go up hills. Similar to hill climbs in the Yorkshire dales. The path is very well maintained. The hike up the hill took us 1h15m. That included our snack break halfway.
This was a great day. Would recommend. 🙂
As you can see 5 stars rating. Even whilst cold and rainy. The E-bike part was fun but really not long. The awesome part of this was the unexpected hike. You read hike, but don't really get it until you complete the journey. I'm 280lbs, but try to stay active. You need to be at the very minimum an occasional active person to complete the tour. Let's just say this looks down on the '418 steps'... Had a really really great time. Must do!!
Absolutely horrible experience. Had us standing in the pouring rain while waiting for 2 guests who showed up 30 minutes late. They don’t tell you this but the bike part is only 30 minutes each way. The hike is 2 hours over steep muddy rocks. There is no bathroom anywhere. If it too difficult for you to navigate steep wet rocks in the pouring rain, there is NO other option for you. We bailed. Avoid at all costs. Also they do not refund any of your money.
Fun e-bike ride with beautiful views and then a hike to the top of a very high hill and back. The hike was steeper and more strenuous than we expected but we made it!
This was an awesome tour that was fun, informative and had great guides. Beautiful view from the hike and gave new meanind to bike riding
What an awesome way to see the city. Anton was very informed and a pleasure to spend time with. He can prepared with a locally made lunch, dessert and juice. Would recommend to anyone for sure.
This was amazing! Our guides Anton and Annu were patient, helpful, and informative. I would recommend going fresh and ready to move. We biked 15 min to the base of the trail, hiked for a couple hours, and bike around the fjord with the remaining time. Incredible views with a tasty lunch. I was exhausted, but I loved it!

Gorgeous everything. Great ebike tour of the city and mountains. Difficult hike up the mountain and down in heavy winds, pouring rain, and slippery surfaces, but we loved it. Very fun.
Great experience, staff friendly and helpful. e bike ride very good. Option of a longer bike ride would would be nice. A bit of confusion over start time hand availability of e bikes let it down from a five star experience. Would definitely recommend it.

The e bikes were high quality and comfortable. The hike was a bit muddy and was windy at times, but the views were fantastic and it was great to get some outdoor exercise.
Linda gave us a great tour of a small part of outer Alesund and around the base of Sukkertoppen which we climbed. The hike up it is very steep and although Norwegians would rate it easy, I would call it strenuous here in the States. But we really enjoyed it and had a nice picnic up at the top. The E bikes were a lot of fun to use especially after the hike! She took us to a small beach near the aquarium too.
