Overview

Combine a ziplining tour with a soak in hot springs with this combo tour. You'll visit Go Adventure Arenal Park, where you'll get to take 10 different ziplines and have the option of rappelling a distance of around 50 meters. You'll then head to a local hot springs to soak in mineral pools and in a volcanic mud bath.

Had a great experience and alot of fun. The instructor were nice and informative. I felt very safe the whole time. Zip lines had double safety features on their own. Plus the instructors were there and the ability to slow yourself down with the leather glove. Instructions were clear and repeated throughout. Highly recommended! Med and thermal pools were great after across the street at the hotel. 100% would book again!

I am 63 and was traveling with my husband and 22 year old son. We felt so safe. The guys taking us from platform to platform were so nice and funny. We truly had a blast! I even repelled down the 50 meter rock which I had absolutely NO intention of doing. They controlled everything and lowered me slowly. I felt amazing that I did it!! Fantastic experience.

Fun experience, but insufficient safety instructions

Would not recommend - fun experience, but we were injured and did not feel safety was prioritized (see below). Good: property is scenic and photos ($15pp) were worth it. Bad: safety instructions were insufficient - for ziplining, the presentation was rushed (employee was speaking quickly and quietly) and the employee did not fully explain how to brake. For rappelling, there was no safety presentation at all; the employees attaching us to the ropes just said "small jump" and did not explain that you needed to do small jumps the entire way down. This lead to 3 out of 4 in our party slamming against the wall as we had never rappelled before. Employees also rushed participants through the activities instead of ensuring they understood the directions - one member of our party received a black eye and cut his foot after not being clearly told he needed to brake on the next zipline.

Hard to say what the best part was as it was memorable from start to finish. The staff that kept us safe during the ziplining were wonderful! They were very thorough and organized and genuinely cared about our safety and that we had a good time. The rappelling was just a short trip down the side of the mountain but was a fun experience that neither my husband or children had tried before. I will say we had to ask about the thermal pool / volcanic ash portion of the excursion when we got back as no one was managing that portion of it but we all loved experiencing the volcanic ash and swimming in the thermal pool! All in all a great time for my whole family. We definitely recommend the trip for all ages!

nice people, very informative, and fun. I came from NYC, and I would do it again. The ziplines are high and good views, I then went to to the hot springs at the resort across the street, it was a nice touch. The zipline tour also offered a small tour where we seen the Costa Rican Mayans, and their culture, it was a nice little incentive. Photos for ziplining are $10, digital, not bad.

I arrived a few minutes late for this tour, due to an accident, in which I seriously almost died trying to get there. The operator did not respond to my messages and when I arrived the tour had already left, which is understandable but they refused to even do a partial refund and I wasn’t able to reschedule for the next time they had available. It wasn’t as if I had no-showed, it was an extreme circumstance. I was shown no compassion or anything, which if that’s how they want to run their business cool, but after speaking with some locals (non-competitors), it became clear that this company is known for their negative impact on the tourism community. I recommend finding a company that embodies more of the local pura vida spirit. I did nine other tours during my stay in La Fortuna, this was my only negative experience, aside from the accident of course.

Attentive, helpful staff. Fun experience suitable for beginners. Neither my wife nor I had zipline before. The equipment was heavy duty and felt very safe. Many of the zip sections we're very fast. They instructed us how to slow down and stop by depressing a leather grip onto the cable to reduce speed.

The bus that picked us up was a little late, but other than that absolutely perfect! Amazing experience. The staff were super professional, friendly and helpful. The thermals was a nice extra. We even lucked out to see a sloth not far from the pool.

Great ziplining; not so great communication on shuttle

The zipline portion of this deal was incredible!! The zipline personnel were excellent. They explained things in great detail, were very funny and took great care of our group. We were supposed to get a shuttle from our hotel and it never arrived. We were told they notified me but I did not receive anything stating we needed to find our own ride there. Fortunately, we had cars. But if we hadn't, we would likely have missed this great opportunity.

Had a great time zip lining with your amazing guides! All the people were super friendly and helpful. The only reason why 4* and not 5 were the platforms as some of them are in pretty sketchy shape (rusty, half way collapsed at some parts). Otherwise it was a great adventure, pura vida!

The staff members were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My friend and I were scared but they put us at ease. I wasn’t expecting sooo many lines but it was amazing. We saw a monkey and was able to end in the pools and see the Indian tribe. Well worth the money and experience.
