This was a very fun experience and an enjoyable afternoon. The group was small and everyone had a good time participating. The class is held in a professional kitchen and the teacher was great. She had a wry sense of humor which I greatly enjoyed. When I told her I'd seen people grate the butter for lamination instead of pounding it, she said "well, the british don't make croissants." We all came home with a couple of croissants and a couple of pain au chocolate so we had breakfasts and good memories to enjoy afterwards. I highly recommend this experience!

    Top notch experience

The class was fun and informative. We had people with no experience and some with more, but all had a good time and made some amazing pastries. I highly recommend it and would take another class from these amazing people.

    Fabulous croissant & pain-au-chocolat class!

We had a great time learning how to make croissants & pain-au-chicolat pastries today (although we’ll probably never be able to make them at home). The chef was wonderful. We worked in a professional kitchen with six other guests who were fun to get to know. If you’re visiting Aix-En-Provence, we highly recommend this experience.

    Trop fun!

This was such a fun experience! I love to bake, but have been scared to try viennoiserie. Cécile and Gaëtane were so lovely and welcoming, and were very patient with all of us as we learned and asked a million questions. I left with four delicious croissant/pains au chocolat that I was so proud of I almost resisted eating them… almost.

    Response from Host, Jul 2025

Thank you so much for your lovely words! We’re so glad you decided to take the plunge into viennoiserie with us — you did such a very good job, and we could see how proud you were of your beautiful croissants and pains au chocolat (rightly so!). It was a joy to welcome you and answer all your great questions. We hope you’ll keep baking and maybe even come back for another delicious adventure with us someday!

    Croissants!!!
